Is an aquarius male and a female gemini such a bad match??

Hi, I've just registered so this is all new to me! I saw another thread that is similar to what I'm asking. At the moment I'm kinda seeing this girl who I'm really into, she's lovely although I'm a little wary because it hasn't been long and she's very analytical of what I say and do possible because she is being careful about who she gets involvd with I think. I'm not sure...I don't totally understand. Anyway the point i'm trying to get to relates to star signs - she is very into astrology and destiny and fate...- she reads indepth books about it not magazine articales which are rubbish, and she seems to think that she has me pin-pointed because of my starsign which is slightly annoying because for me all I know is I like the girl and i'd like to see what develops...I don't know what my star sign means really and I'm not sure how much I'd put my faith into that information.

 

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about our match - aquarius male with gemini female. Or if anyone really takes these things seriously - some of it seems kind of relevant so I'm interested to know what other people think- are we supposed to be terrible together because thats what I this girl keeps hinting at

but to start, aquarius and gemini is supposed to be fairly compatible. I'm gemini and my female counterpart is aquarius...and yes I tend to analyze things. I've never really been into any of this stuff but my counterpart is. I have to say counterpart because we aren't really anything to each other yet...I don't think. I'm not sure if there is any difference to the male female switching though either.

 

maybe she believes but also has doubts about astrology so she questions it's validity

Did you give her your birthdate (day/month/year), and the time of the day you were born?Perhaps she is way into astrology and she read that the position of both all your planets was not compatible. or stuff like that.

 

What if she is just not interested in you and used the pathetic no-backbone excuse "hey, our star signs do not match"?

 

If she genuinely believes so much in astrology she'd refuse to date a guy ONLY because of his star sign, she sounds like a girl not worth pursuing.

i didn't tell her all that detailed stuff...i'm pretty sure she hasn't sat down and tried to work it all out. True she may just not be that interested but it doesn't exactly seem that way although shes a tricky one. Let just say its gone far enough and so I'm assuming she must like me quite a bit, otherwise she doesn't have a problem with intimacy with someone shes not into....

This would be why you are having such a difficult time forming anything with this woman — She is nuts over astrology, and is probably limiting herself to signs that she approves of, which I think is completely ridiculous. No doubt she has passed up many other great men simply because her books told her to do so. I have dealt with this type before. I think they are a bit on the loony side.

As I said. She reads books about silly things, and thinks that these silly things dictate how the world works. She must truly believe that she knows everything about you, and if your personalities would be compatible or not. The truth is that she could not possibly know this from reading a book on astrology. The sad thing is, however, that since she has already made up her mind about you there is nothing that you can do. This woman sounds to be a waste of your time.

I do not take any of that sort of thing very seriously. There are moments where you will find interesting and haunting coincidences, but this happens all of the time in life. The reason this girl keeps hinting that you two would be terrible together is because this girl has brainwashed herself with silly notions. Even if she did try you out, I believe she would most likely drive you nuts with her little hobby there. I've tried to date people who were into this and various other such topics and it simply aggravated me.

 

If this is the sort of thing she wants to put her faith into, then you need to respect it. She has already decided that you two will never work out, so I recommend you move on to someone who is not so restrictive about her life. If you want to buy into any of the astrology stuff, Geminis tend to be a bit (okay, VERY) eccentric. There are times when I fit the Gemini bill, too, but it's just crazy coincidence.

 

If our fate were determined by the stars, do you not think that people the world over, nations and countries as a whole, would be taking advantage of astrology? We would really all have pretty much everything down pact then.

i posted my first post here titled "sagitarius woman vs piscean man" in hopes that the 'astrology savvy' would catch on, that me from a fire sign vs my mate a water sign would get better understanding of the differences in our characters. ah, forget that crap.

 

im a believer of astrology, numerology, the works of it but i dont read my horoscopes before going out of my front yard! it's a guide, for past time amusement to me.

 

Jam_OC, i would highly suggest you dont accept everything any of those 'lovematch' websites or resources say about your compatibility. any real relationship takes work.

 

plenty of websites available, and if you really wanna read, read your star sign aquarius and then if you agree more than say 70% of what is said, then only check the same source for gemini's traits..... take all this lightly. compatibility ratings are for fun to me and should not be given heart and soul.

(btw does anyone wonder why say 10 newspapers can have horoscope columns and sometimes they can contradict each other? so which do we depend/rely on, how do you know they didnt dump a bunch of comments in a hat and picked one out) ???

I don't notice that horoscopes contradict each other so much as I notice that it predicts the same thing for 12 different groups, in different words.
