oaks
Influenza to a cold is like Godzilla to an alligator. Yup. If someone says they have flu there's a great diagnostic test. Ask them if they want to die. If they aren't feeling that bad then it isn't really flu.

Mittens
I delayed going to the doctor for a month because I thought I had 'just a cold'. Turns out I have Bacterial Pneumonia. Not making that mistake again.
snug.bunny
Out of all his "accomplishments", you're the one thing he couldn't conquer. Of course he's not going to take this lying down! I agree with this. The dynamic from the onset consisted of challenge. He was looking for intimate (sexual) encounters only, DL went in knowing this, and although she said "no sex" from the getgo, her saying that most likely raised the bar in his mind. And now, he is not backing down...Him sleeping over and kissing/cuddling, probably added to that. I'd be a bit angry if someone I knew for two weeks and met off the internet, showed up like that, though the sentiment was thoughtful, it tends to make the receiver feel bad given the receiver in this case ended the "friendship". I think the best course of action at this point, is non-action. Or, tell him you met someone else. OP has already tried the direct/straightforward route, and he disregarded it. Of course he's not going to take this lying down! I think his "accomplishments" are inflated. Whoa, hello off topic! not all but most on this page.. Anyway, D i hope he's left you alone today. I didn't answer him today. I'm going into silent mode now. I've said what I have to say and there is nothing left to say! When I cam home there were no gifts at my door. daphne
It sure is. But you have options, and a lot to offer so don't sweat it. You're doing the smart thing to give the benefit of the doubt and cutting bait when the doubt's removed.

Hopefully I won't be alone forever and there is actually a guy out there for me that I can spent the rest of my life with.
laotzu
Yes, back to the drawing board....Again. Dating is frustrating. Agreed - I sort of hate dating. Why do people say, "I just want to date"? I don't want to date. I mean: I can get tons of dates... but it's not what I want. You're not double my age. Twenty-nine, here. Good luck. To both of us.
