Girlfriend caught kissing another guy

My girlfriend of 5 1/2 years. We always totally happy. In love. Everything has been great. We really only eachothers friends she doesnt hang out with her friends hardly ever she works 7 days a week. She went out last night late didnt tell me. My cousin and her fiance caught her holding hands with a guy then they kissed. It was a tap kiss cousin didnt say they were making out. When cousin went in to confront her she wasnt all over the guy. A little background my girlfriend doesnt normally drink and she says she was really wasted. Doesnt remember everything or really who the guy was. Girlfriend came clean when she got home. She told her mom too. She says she feels horrible understand that I hate her now. She says she is sorry and that understand that she lost me now. She wants to try and earn my trust again.

One friend says dont just end it give it time. I know when I was single I have gotten wasted and not remembered making out with a girl. But what really bothers me is she didnt call me invite me. Was friends bday party. Was last minute they called at 11:30pm I live hour away she said she didnt call cuz of that. She wasnt planning on staying long or drinking she said she was going to just tell me in morning cuz it was late.

I am so confused. Cousin says she doesnt know what I should do. I have never been happy with a girl like I am with her. In past I had no problem leaving people if things went south but with her it so hard I dont know what to do.

Should I see how it goes see if she earns my trust again write off as drunken mistake?

I know this is really heart breaking for you. And it would be for me too, if this was my girl.

 

I think you should give it time and let her earn your trust again. This looks like just another case of the "demon drink" (aka "BOOZE") causing someone to do something they normally would not have done. It can be forgiven once, but not twice. So keep that in mind too.

 

Can she stop drinking, and you do the same? I would maybe consider that too. Alcohol can be a real screw up for some people and they just lose it.

Again...Bull****. She didn't call you because it sucks when your BF of 5 and a half years shows up and spoils your fun. It was bad enough that cousin of yours ruined her night. LOL...man come on, this is not even a red flag...this is a huge Red HINDENBURG Exploding above your airfield. She only told you because she was caught. Which tells me if your Cousin had not been there she would have ridden this guy's cock in the back alley and you would have been none the wiser..

Talking to her today she said she made of stupid choice so sounds like she admitting she knows what she was doing. Hence reason I havent called her or spoken to her since this morning. Just going to be a hard time for awhile..
