A question about a how to talk to a girl I like

Recommended Posts

Hi all, im new here. I hate to sound like a broken record player, I know there have been plenty of similar posts, but I would like some advice about approaching this girl I like. Here goes:

Me and her are in the same class in college and one day I left a poem I wrote for here on her desk. Basically I told her that I like here and how pretty and smart she is; I even put my name on it. Im pretty sure that she read it and didnt immediately throw it out, but I couldnt see her reaction because I sit behind her. That was about 2 weeks ago and I havent been able to bring myself to talk to her since.

Ill have one more opportunity on Thursday, the day of the final. It will be in a big adutorium and she will probably be sitting in the front somewhere. There are two potential problems: she knows that someone in the class likes her, but she has no clue who, she never looked at me the whole term; the other problem is that ill have maybe 5 minutes before we have to take the test. What would be the best way to approach her? Also, this is probably a stupid question but, where should I sit when I come into the room, right next to her or maybe 2 seats away? And yes, im very shy, its been a comfort to find out there are so many of us.

If anyone can indulge me, thank you.

P.S. A somewhat unrelated question if you will, specifically for the woman; do woman really care if a guy has a car or not, im just wondering?

dear Roman

you make me feel so old!

No sweetheart, a good woman won't care about cars.

But a good young woman might not immediately realise she doesn't...

We live in the ultimate superficial materialistic society, people get confused from their ideals.

Re approaching the girl.

I'd pass a note with my phone no and a smile and nothing else, you don't want to distract her or you from the test.

Remember, there are no all or nothings, everything is a learning curve.
