irishguy11
Ok so Im running out of steam and need some help. Let's rewind about 5 years ago. I was working as a janitor , droped out of college, weighed roughly 230 pounds and lost my dreamgirl that had messed with my head bad. OH that and I was a drunk legend to most people. Ok so then I got arrested for a minor binge drinking night when I was out of town and Ironically that was the night I descided to turn things around. I met a girl who convinced me to stop drinking. Sadly she also messed with my head too. Which both girls apologized later for so aka Im a tool. I went from 230 to 165 and worked out. I got in shape and rescently went back to college. I went from a couple jobs to a higher paying job and currently trying to get a job that would greatly increase my income. All my life Ive been negative, depressed, angry, and kinda hopeless. Im still kinda in a dead end job and Im having bad anxiety about failing a class which would mean I failed college considering I left on a 2.0. Im 28 years old and I know Im in trouble in class and life although Im getting grades in the 80s and ninteys (my lowest grade so far is a 78). I have made ALOT of mistakes and so I need to know how to go from here. How can I control my anxiety and everything. I would like to meet someone different but I think a new relationship would just add gasoline to a fire. Basically how can I change my mental state and thus would help me change my future. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Cee
You are doing a lot. You are working a job and are back in school. Anxiety and fear that you'll have trouble in school seems normal. I suggest you go to the campus counseling center and talk about how hard it is to adjust to school. They will listen to you and give you support. Or you could go to the campus tutoring center and have somebody help you with your homework. Try to build support for your new life. You don't have to do it alone. Most people can't do it alone and ask for help. Congratulations on your success in school and I hope you get the anxiety under control.
