jfxiii Posted May 19, 2004 Share Posted May 19, 2004 For most of my youth I was in generally top phys condition. lately, though (past 8 months) I have had real trouble motivating myself to exercise, Ive been eating too much food, most of it inhealthy. I need help with motivation, a plan of action, something, before my body and spirit deteriorate furthur. What are some things that have worked for you? Link to post Share on other sites
moimeme Posted May 20, 2004 Share Posted May 20, 2004 I took up an exercise that I really enjoyed so that it wasn't work. Find something you enjoy doing a lot - be it swimming or walking or dancing - and you'll find yourself wanting to go do it. Link to post Share on other sites

So I say it's a bit more linked to your emotional state... as they say, "it's all in your head". Think about this. That could be why you feel you have to work extrahard to exercise. Take it slow and do what moi said, find an activity you enjoy practicing! And pay attention to mood swings ! Link to post Share on other sites
