nikkiej
My ex and I have been broken up for 6 weeks, and since then I've lost 10 pounds. I'm still eating, but I just don't have the appetite like I used to. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. How much did you lose?

All I could eat was junk food, donuts, toast, poptarts, candy and had a hard time getting that down ha,, Awful ! It's normal to lose your appetite,, you'll get it back in time. I look back on it now and laugh.
1mp
Me. The only good thing about the break up was my rapid weight loss as I was 3 - 4 stone overweight. I lost a stone (14 pounds) in the first 2 months. Then when I remade contact and tried to win her back (see my loooooong post if you want details) I lost a stone in 2 weeks and I'm still losing but not at the same rate. It's about 3lb a week. I was about 15st 7 when we split on July 30th. I was 14st 6 on Oct 2 - the day I went to get her back. I was 13st 7 on Sun Oct 16th. 13st 5 the Sun after. 13st 2 the Sun after that. and I expect to be 12st 13 by Sunday. Like you I wasn't eating but also burning 700 - 1200 calories a day walking my dog and going over everything in my mind, having conversations I'll never have, going over old ones with a fine toothcomb etc. It drove me mad and it still is. D-Lish
It's very common. I went from 155 to 105 during my divorce 10 years ago. My ex and I broke up 6 months ago and I've dropped almost 20lbs. Your appetite will come back, just be sure to look after yourself!
AlisaMarie
I usually drop a quick ten lbs the first couple weeks after. I gain it back when I am happy again! If you find you are losing weight ... do yourself a favor and take vitamins! I lost a lot of hair starving myself like that. Aren't you glad we aren't the type to gain? I'd be huge by now! beachwrangler
Yeah I lost 10 pounds when she broke it off with me. The shock of her cheating on me made my whole body shut down and the thought of eating made me want to puke. But have been hitting the gym hardcore the past month and a half and regained the 10 pounds just all muscle
