I'm such a loser.

I can't believe I emailed him. I told him I didn't want a response but he ended up replying anyway and it made me feel a million times worse.

He cheated on me, was controlling and insecure, suspicious, and never seemed to be happy with who I was. AND I'M STILL PINING AFTER HIM. Why? I'm just bored I guess. bored of life.

But yes, you're all right when you say that breaking NC is deterimental to one's health. He was genuine in his response, said that he missed me and didn't blame me for ending it. But for some reason that makes me feel even more terrible.

I emailed my ex about a week ago and I've been expecting him to reply but..I think you are right and maybe a response won't do anyone any good. There's nothing he could say to make me feel better or make things like they were before. I'm sorry this happened and maybe you can go up from here? I feel that I told him everything I needed to say to him in the email so there's nothing left for me to do but heal my heart and move on.

You are NOT a loser, you are just someone with feelings who's struggling with the end of an unhealthy relationship. We've all been there, and we all eventually learn from it. Hopefully you won't reach out to him again...

Just chalk this up to a lesson learned: NC, NC, NC.

I've done the same (plenty of times) to the same guy. Sometimes he would reply, sometimes he wouldnt. . I've learned my lesson though. Next time you feel like emailing him (hopefully there wont be a next time), try writing up the email.. Just saving the draft email and go back to read it in a day or two. OR save it until the next day. Sometimes you let your emotions take over and say things you shouldnt. When you read it the next day..youll realize how desperate or ridiculous or realize that he doesnt deserve the words youre telling him. I know it hurts girly, but try reading to get your mind off things. I go on sites such as Oprah.com, or even here..to get my mind off things. Try looking up dating websites, shift your focus to something else. There are plenty of men out there, we just have to find the right one for us! Good luck to you! and you are NOT a loser!
