nyckidd Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 For all the girls on here, Do you prefer a guy who is lean(not skinny just toned), or a guy who is big and muscular(not bodybuilder), Me and my buddies at the gym brought this topic up and most of them think they have to be big and muscular, but I think girls like a guy who's toned and in good shape like a Mario Lopez. What are your opinions? Thanks!

cerridwen Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Working with one's natural shape is the best look. I've seen plenty of guys kill themselves going for size, when they're naturally slimmer. The result looks horribly artificial. Smaller guys may not turn heads when fully clothed, but shirtless (or bottomless), guys like Mario Lopez or Ryan Reynolds are hot, hot, hot.

First of all, being either fit body type you describe will put you so far ahead of your peers that it won't even matter which you are because you're already distinguishing yourself. It's like asking women if they like a well-dressed man, or a well-educated man. The dating benefits are fairly obvious, which is why I find questions like these a little silly. That is why I say you should be what YOU want to be, because at the end of the day, it ain't gonna matter to them. That being said, in my experience, women tend to favor and respond more to the leaner look, though having a fair amount of muscle mass can't hurt.

missed_theboat Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I like a lean, muscular guy. Not muscular in a big way, but more like sculpted and toned. I love some nice muscular arms to hold me tight. I also love toned chests, yum, but not massively muscular.
