Now a days things are changing...some women are starting to be more aggressive but not too much cause it intimidates some men. I'm speaking from experience. I'm gone up to a guy and I've even tried to first move and everything. Some men like it....some don't. It depends on the person. I think either way when you approach someone you get good or bad vibes from them. Or even if your just passing by them...you look at them, smile, or just say hi.... I think it's a lot harder for men to approach a women.....I think it has a lot to do with confidence. Look at it like this....What do you have to loose. NOTHING! If she / he says no....okay...your loss Budd.... If she/he says yes....then great you made a new friend. Hope this has helped. GOOD LUCK!

That man simply has an advantage .To me this is more about who gives in first, who does the "mature" thing first, who misses the other one more, who calls first... Like a dance of tango: one leads, but there are so many elements hard to predict in the other person's reactions...
