HappyFlower
Its better to be honest with the other person right? I told this guy by text after I got back that I realised I talked about my ex a bit and that I'm probably not as over it as I thought, and that I was sorry He so wanted another date and kept saying how nervous he was during the day (I've been on a few other dates post BU, but none were so 'date-like' as this if that makes sense?)...I feel terrible! Popehappycat
I don't think it matters how far along in the process you are, that first plunge is still going to bring up some feelings and emotions. Your last connection with another human being is what threw you for such a loop last time. It's good you recognized it and said something, but as long as you're not waiting for the ex to pop back up so you can run to them, I say go enjoy yourself. If you truly want to move on, go for it. If you're hopelessly clinging to your ex, though, don't drag anybody else along for the ride. Treat others how you want to be treated and all that jazz.
