Author kaleidoscope
Thanks for the additional thoughts. You know what's interesting about my crush on this woman? I haven't fully seen her for years - all I have are recent photos of her face. I don't even care about what her body looks like, I really don't. I just adore everything about her and all our conversations that we shared. I even love the bits of grey hair and every little wrinkle I see. To me she's the most beautiful girl in the world and I say that with all honesty. She has been divorced for a couple of years now and has children. I've never had a crush like this. And my crush has been going on for about 2 years now! I just wish she had the same type of crush on me. That would be so perfect .... sigh... And then this thread about how to attract her wouldn't mean so much because we'd love each other's imperfections anyways.
Seneca
Good on ya mate! Women are an amazing treasure. Oh so beautiful. You both are lucky to have each other.
FitChick
Really? He seems like kind of a cock. Gerard Butler trained to be a lawyer but hated it. He once saved a boy from drowning in a river. He is a versatile actor -- action, comedy, romance, drama, musicals, Shakespeare. He likes travelling in wild and desolate areas. He stopped boozing, smoking and binge eating. Now his only addictions are womanizing and workaholism.
cerridwen
Gerard Butler...they are both spiritual. ... Now his only addictions are womanizing and workaholism. Sounds like my kind of spirituality. OP, you are such a romantic man. It's very refreshing. Is your crush the type to demand perfection? Or could she conceive of loving "imperfection"? Author kaleidoscope
cerridwen, I don't think she wants perfection but my gut says that she does have a 'type'. And she could love imperfection if it is her type. I can't really figure out her type though. Things didn't work out with her ex-husband so I don't think she is looking for the same anyways. I think its maybe being more on mysterious side, perhaps with a touch more masculinity. Maybe I'm too open and honest with her sometimes. I can only be the best I can be I suppose. She has children so I would guess that she wants a guy who fits in with them. I'm so terrified that the children won't like me. At the same time I'm looking forward to meeting them so much. I want to play a big part in raising them too and hopefully have more children with her. I totally admire her for the way she cares for her children. I think being romantic is one quality I can bring to the table with her for sure because I honestly she is missing romance in her life right now with work and raising the kids. I've always been romantic but its amazing how many women aren't into the romantic thing these days! I have yet to meet a woman who likes Valentines Day! They all say it doesn't mean anything, its commercial. etc. etc. I love that day even when I'm single.
Seneca
I have yet to meet a woman who likes Valentines Day! They all say it doesn't mean anything, its commercial. etc. etc. Send them flowers at their workplace when they don't expect it. They will say different. I've always been romantic but its amazing how many women aren't into the romantic thing these days! Based on what research? Perhaps we men have failed to give it to them, so they don't expect much from us. I'm a romantic myself, so I applaud you for doing what you can to please your woman. She is a gift. Maybe I'm too open and honest with her sometimes. What do you mean? Being open and honest is part of the attraction. BUT it doesn't always have to be spoken with words. Being open and honest in a nonverbal way can be very seductive - an example would be in your body language. The way you look at her and with every fiber in your body longing to be with her. Looking at her as if she was the most beautiful woman in the world.
Author kaleidoscope
The workplace flowers sounds nice but I have a feeling some women may find that embarrassing and putting her on the spot (?). When I say I'm too open I just mean perhaps I'm too transparent about liking here and I'm not playing the "game" so to speak. I just want her to be intrigued instead of everything being so obvious I guess. Then again some people don't like games. I don't. And maybe she doesn't. I guess I just have to keep learning about her specifically and what she likes and wants.
DearAbby
Ok, just to answer your question. The photos the girls posted do a good job of projecting the image ideals. Patrick Bateman Image (not personality) Christian Bale- American Psycho I am in love with David Duchovny - hes not even that hot, but his personality makes him so hot to me Edward Norton- again not that hot, but has a lot of Confidence Vince Vaughn- bad physique, but tall and funny cutesy personality Honestly, personality takes the cake for me... I don't care if the guy has a perfect body. I just want to know that he works out at least 4 times a week and makes an attempt and that he eats relatively healthy and he's not lazy. PlumPrincess
One look at his mug and I heard that piercing music from Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" ripping though my head. Yeah, he has weird eyes.
KathyM
What appeals to me is a man who has a symetrical face, longer hair, well dressed, fit and ripped. I have a thing for blonde-haired men, but find all colors except red or gray as attractive on a man. A man really can't change his facial features, unless he goes to the extreme of plastic surgery, but he can certainly lose weight, build muscle, improve his hair style and clothing style to become more attractive to women. I also like a man with a good suntan.
