kgal
Ugh. Im just so fed up w/men (not all..just some) .. and I've felt rejection from alot of them in just a short period of time. Now...I know I could let it just get to me and affect my self-esteem....but it just makes me mad. Why can't some men just be more thoughtful, considerate? Okay...so you don't like me....or whatever the cause? ... but can't you just let me know in a way that shows you care about my feeling? Grrr..... LOL..... Sorry.... I just have to vent here. I wrote this poem .. Im sick of the lies Im sick of the pain Im sick of goodbyes Im sick of the shame Im sick of the I...love myself over you Im sick of the feeling bad ...feeling blue Im sick of the way he ignores me and still Has fun with another Without his heart feeling ill Im sick of the time Ive wasted away Im sick of the sickness So therefore I pray God..grant me the serenity To except the things I cannot change And the wisdom to know the difference. I am free once again Amen. I guess I just have to remember that not everyone is going to react the way we want them to in life...and accepting this... helps me to move forward...and keep my self worth growing. Guess I'll just work on my smile...
SD_Sniper
I'd just like to say don't let a few of us ruin the whole thing for you. And the golden rule of dating doesn't really apply (the golden rule is this: Good looking men are always jerks: Nice men are always ugly; Nice good looking men are always gay; and Straight nice good looking men are always taken) I'm sorry for what some of us do, just remember, we are not all that way. tom_gbr
yeah chin up we are not all like that...i consider myself goodlooking and im not a jerk...when my girlfriend finished it with me for no reason whatsoever...o apart from that " i need time alone to sort my life out excuse " ...i was more worryed about her feelings and how she was taking it more than myself. i didnt date anyone else for ages as i didnt want to hurt my ex's feelings.....when i saw a girl my ex found out and for some reason i ended up telling my ex that nothing had happened...dont know why i dont have to explain myself. just believe that there are some nice guys out there...you just gotta keep looking....for some reason women seem to be attracted to men that are jerks...dont know why i think its because they think they can change them. have faith
moimeme
women seem to be attracted to men that are jerks No. They are attracted to men who turn out to be jerks. Big difference.
Author kgal
I didn't mean to offend any men here at the shack.... Mainly.... I was just letting off some steam from the men that DID break my heart in the past few months. I know there are guys out there who are good.. and one day I will meet one and my poems will most likely be alot different. Haha. I just had to vent..
SD_Sniper
Nobody was mad at this end, I just didn't want you to give up. Good luck with finding "Mr. Right". I gotta go, my GF is getting mad at me....

capitald
I am a nice looking guy who isn't gay and who is nice. So thats not the golden rule in my book. Not trying to ruin your theory though, just looking to add my perspective. I guess there is a perfect somebody for everyone who wants it and is willing to work for it. SD_Sniper
I'm sorry, I guess I was misunderstood. That [the golden rule] was created as more of a joke to try to cheer up the reader.
