Lostinlife4now
I just watched a short piece on CNN regarding Herman Cain and his extra marital affairs. Barbara Walters had asked him about the allegations regarding other women in his life, and what did he do HE DENIED EVERYTHING..... He is the typical MM who has had affairs and DENIES, DENIES, DENIES..... and the sad part is that his wife believes him. Why would 3 to 4 different women all telling the SAME story come out and try to hurt this presidential candidate if it were not TRUE? I looked at him with complete and utter disrespect and would never vote for him to be president. I would have had more respect for him if HE TOLD THE TRUTH. Would love some feedback......any thoughts?
norajane
Typical cheater. Most deny, deny, deny until there is no way out. So stupid. They seem to have no clue that 1) they look really stupid trying to lie their way out of it even after the jig is up, and 2) the lying is what makes their deeds so MUCH worse than they would be otherwise. carhill
Typical politician. ' Listen, I'm a politician which means I'm a cheat and a liar, and when I'm not kissing babies I'm stealing their lollipops. But it also means I keep my options open.' Memorable line from Hunt for Red October.

Oh no...do not believe for one minute his wife believed him....Long history of long separations and assumed issues by friends and family that believed she knew and confronted him often. This last was a surprise though, if you read between the lines....13 year-OW and then his wife and children were together for an entire weekend....he joins them and after the weekend he announced his "suspension of campaign." Oh boy....that must have been some family weekend.

LoveTKO
Why is this such a shocking revelation, this denial tactic when confronted with an affair? Denial is human nature, an imbedded and visceral defense mechanism that we all use from time to time. Whenever you need time to think about an explanation for your transgressions you resort to stalling tactics in order to create alibis and cover stories. My girlfriend told me told me that even if her husband caught her in bed having sex on all fours, she would still probably deny it and say that "it isn't what it looks like" or something. What amuses me about Herman Cain is his explanation that he has helped many "friends" with financial support who were experiencing economic hardships and what not, but why didn't a single reporter ask how many of them were male?? None! Since he was throwing money at women who are either employed by him, or beholden to him because of some restaurant association affiliation, tells me that he is a bit of dirt-bag who abuses his power and preys on vulnerable women. If you're going to have an affair, do it out of pure lust, desire, and mutual attraction, but not by using money as some proxy to exploit the vulnerable.
Feelin Frisky
Cain answers the questions of his affairs in German with "nein, nein, nein".
