supranx
My girlfriend of 5 months is going away for school. She is going to be on another continent and we will have no phone or internet contact. Even regular mail contact is going to be extremely limited. She is going to be gone for at least one semester (3 months or so). At first, she said that she wanted to seperate when she left, now she is saying that she thinks she was wrong, and we should try to stick it out. She tells me that she isn't going to school to try and find another boyfriend and that she truely loves me. She has even talked about living together when she returns. Is it unrealistic for me to think that we will be able to get through this together? Being apart, with no contact for at least 3 months? I've never been in such a strained LDR before. Anybody have some good advice on how to handle this? I'd really appreciate any input!
bluechocolate
Is it unrealistic for me to think that we will be able to get through this together? No, it is not unrealistic. But what can you do? You're just going to have to wait until she returns & pick up your relationship where you left off.
