Horrible taste? We are talking about bodies in this thread, not who has the cuter face. The girl next door does not have a better body then Jillian. And she def does NOT have a better body or face than Jamie Eason.

I know girl next door doesnt mean chubby. I was responding to him saying the nerd-fitness girl looked better when she was more chubby. She didnt.

Are you kidding me right now? Or do you guys overlook the other gals mentioned in this thread...or the other guys who like in shape women.

Heres fitness model Jennifer Nicole Lee. She lifts too. http://www.fratfury.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Jennifer-Nicole-Lee-3.jpg

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/79/Jennifer_Nicole_Lee_3.jpg

Ew shes so gross guys lmao (sarcasm)I have such bad taste in women huh. I mean what red blooded straight man could want toned, tight, and firm butt and abs? How dare he want curves and a sexy V cut? :rolleyes:You guys are something else.

I really don't like the way those pictures look. They look very manly. Here are pics of girls I like... People like Amber Heard http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr340/ztitch-yankee/original.jpg or Oliva Wilde http://www.twilike.com/wp-content/uploads/olivia_wilde.jpg

But really I don't need even that. I like the girl next door look. A natural, young looking little to know make up person. A girl who while healthy doesn't look like she just busted her ass at the gym all day with heavy weights.

I didn't know you were "most guys".

You like women that can beat you up, who makes a lot of money, who has a 6 pack , an adonis belt, bulging biceps, throws you around in bed and a dominant attitude.

I think it's safe to say, most men aren't looking for a woman like that :lmao:

In fact, it sounds a lot more like what most women are looking for in a man .

I'm not into chubby chicks, but theres no way the girl in the before picture was chubby. She was just thin/average. You are simply an extremely shallow person.

Who said I wanting bulging biceps? Most models guys fawn over have a flat stomach and a Vcut.

What guy wouldnt the last two women I linked above? Lets be serious. Most super models have a freaking V cut and guys like it.

And actually, you must not talk to a lot of guys, because I know plenty of dudes who enjoy a woman who will interact with them and take control in bed. This way we arent always doing all the work.

And about the money thing. Nowadays guys dig a girl who can pay her own way. Get a clue kid.

No they wouldn't. They like soft feminine women. I don't know what planet your on but I don't see that many men going after the bodybuidlling/gym girls.

Whats not feminine about any of the womens bodies that I presented?

Most guys would love to be with any of those girls. Being toned and firm does not mean a girls body is hard.

Guys are fawning over super models and WWE Divas all the time. Those girls work out in the gym...so guys do want gym girls. All those women have flat stomachs, sometimes have abs showing, some of them have toned arms, and all of them usually have V cuts. Those are sexy to men or women because they draw attention to the nether region.

Ex: http://img.devotedpics.com/t/torrie-wilson/miscellaneous/torrie-wilson-pictures-078.JPG

^Torrie Wilson. Men fawn over her hardcore when she was in the WWE. Men from all walks of life. And she has all I described and a slight V cut.

Theres a difference between a body builder and a fitness/gym girl. Thats as stupid as calling any guy who goes to the gym a bodybuilder.

Model body people lift weights and get toned and lean, male or female.

Know your *****.

If you thing Jennifer Nicole is manly...I dunno what to tell you. The manliest of men I know would love to have her. Shes thin and toned...dunno whats manly about that.

The hollywood girls you linked most likely go to the gym. Most of hollywoods sexiest has to, or they end up skinny fat. Who wants to be thin yet flabby? The best bodies in hollywood are achieved through cardio AND weight training. Male or Female. Im convinced you guys dont know about fitness much.

Girls who bust their ass in the gym go home and shower. Simple as that. Thats how people stay sexy, by working at it. You dont have to bust your ass all day in the gym with weights. A girl only needs 30 minutes to an hour 3 days a week with a few small dumbells and some cardio, and itll do wonders. If she decides to hit some machines for even more work, shell firm up even more.

Again, I see you guys dont know much about fitness.

P.S. - the girls you linked dont even show their bodies...the girls I linked would look the same if they were all draped up. Most women in hollywood get firm, flat stomached, and strong from cardio and weights.

From a website i found about females doing lifting weights:

"For women, toning is what happens when the muscle is developed . This is essentially bodybuilding without testosterone. Since the testosterone is not present in sufficient amounts, the muscle will develop, but it won’t gain a large amount of mass. The “toned” appearance comes from removing the fat that is covering a well-developed muscle."

So you see, REMOVING THE FAT. The curves and fat distribution is what makes women have sexy vuloptous hips . And they're all removing all that by doing all these extrenous workouts. I don't know about you, but i'll say it again. that's not sexy at all. And not just removing the fat. They're bulking up the muscle....so with no fat whatsoever and big muscles..that's just not nice.

well I mean who cares, if those women want to do it whatever. I'm not gonna date them.

But i'm just saying there's an increase of women who want to do that.

And thanks to workouts in TV infomercials, more women will become like this. Just my thought.

Any fitness person will tell you that bodybuilding is seen as those who want to build large amounts of muscle to show for competitions. Its about getting large and big. Not staying lean.

So you see, REMOVING THE FAT. The curves and fat distribution is what makes women have sexy vuloptous hips . And they're all removing all that by doing all these extrenous workouts. WOMEN LOSE FAT FROM DOING TOO MUCH CARDIO. Weight training does not do that. They can add curves with weights. Its lifts their butt and breasts. Adds toned shape. Overdoing cardio is what will thin a woman out. You know nothing about fitness...and views like yours is what keeps some women from getting into great shape when they hear this misinformation.

You can be both thin, toned, slight muscle, and curvy. How are you simply skipping over every picture I show you. Those women are thin but have curves and a nice butt. Look at Torrie Wilson. Shes toned but still has a nice butt and nice breasts(possibly fake) while also having a nice V cut. Men loved her when she was on tv and modeling.

well I mean who cares, if those women want to do it whatever. I'm not gonna date them.

But i'm just saying there's an increase of women who want to do that.

The thing is, despite your complaint thread, most women have seen that they get more attention from men from getting fit in the gym. It hasnt hurt them.

How do ugly basketball players prove your point? I could find more fitness models and gym girl pictures to again prove mine. Which I have already dont.

Those first girls are your average gals who dont care about toning up. Youd be surprised how many of them are actually skinny fat(have some flab) Dunno how thats better than the second gal whos toned. Shes prolly nice and firm. Her body isnt hard at all and most guys would dig her. Shes not overdoing it. Far from so.

Really? You really think the girls in the last picture are unattractive? Maybe the girl on the far right...but the rest are ok in my book.

You know nothing about fitness. Working out will lift a girls butt and make her breasts more perky. Thats a great thing. If a girl wasnt curvy to begin with, she can add more shape by working out.

Again look at this.

http://dudelol.com/img/what-women-think-will-happen-to-them-if-they-lift-weights-and-what-actually-happens.jpg

The girl top right lifts and does cardio. However shes naturally curvy. So the cardio melts off unnecessary fat so her curves show more.

Then the weight training left her breasts and buttocks, enhancing her curvature.

Assuredly fake.

It's great that you like this very fit type--something for everyone! But it is not the ideal type for every guy. And I wonder if you would find these women as attractive if they did not have breasts enhancement. Women at that fitness level tend to lose natural breast softness.

I'm noticing a trend in workouts for women and the whole women's health.

Women who do al this working out are becoming buff and they claim they feel sexy. Well sure, to themselves.. But not to men!!!!!

Look at some examples of the women promoting workouts for women : Jilian Michaels, and then the Pink Method. They have in common?? They're buff.

And the women who do these workouts become buff. And the whole message that women are getting from these and other advices from health expert women is that they need to look buff and ripped like Jilian etc to be sexy( oh please.. that doesn't look sexy)

So the whole sexy/pretty/cute, at least in america, is becoming obsolete. Yeah they may still wear sexy stuff and try but who wants to see a buff women with ripped legs in a miniskirt. hehehe. not me.

Luckly some women do not give into this so they excercise for health but it's not intense to look ripped. so that's fine.

But yeah the whole "i workout PX98 and I'm buff and i have energy and i feel sexy" is not making them sexy to men at all. Have you guys seen the way women in those PX98 infomercials look. All buff and ripped.. and then all the testimonials of women who used it are women who became strong and ripped.

Some people claim, i just want to look toned. If that's what toned means then no thanks!!

I'll put some images of what i mean.

Here's a bunch of PX90 woman. and Jilian Michales.

So this is what Many Women think it's sexy??? And that's what they want to look like? Ok fine but i'll pass.

Jillian is hot, even in her late 30s. How do you OP!

But yes, kaylan is right. Girls can't get all that bulky by doing weight training because they don't have the growth hormones that guys do.

But doing a high intensity workout burns a lot of energy. Combined with a good diet (or maybe without) your weight should plummet.

And to look like a female bodybuilder you'd have to take steroids and work out and eat like... well, like a professional bodybuilder. Just like guys who work out and are serious about it mostly don't look like professional bodybuilders. (By the way, when competing, female bodybuilders wear a lot of fake tan, and I think it's partly that which makes them look unusual)

In fact, this is a true story: there's a fitness trainer at the gym who's pretty bulky. She's got wide shoulders even though she doesn't have a huge frame - so I suspect she's been doing a lot of work on her shoulders - and huge lats for a prominent V-shape. In fact, she's competed in bodybuilding contests in recent years at the national level and done pretty well. I'd totally do her.

Recently, she gained weight (i.e. fat) noticeably. I don't know if it's because she's trying to put on muscle, or if she's taking a break after just finishing competing, but I'd still do her.

Also, check out a recent addition to our Biggest Loser - fitness trainer Tiffiny Hall. Wawa wee wah!!!

Poor OP. It must be difficult with him, all the she-hulks asking for his number, it must be frustrating to turn them away. Why can't Jillian Michaels just understand that our OP is not interested? Maybe he should file a protective order against her.

OP, I have been a weightlifter (*note that is olympic-style lifting and not bodybuilding) for about 8 years. I look like any other girl on the street, but I happen to be strong. I am probably stronger than you. You do not understand the difference between muscle mass and body fat levels, for one. The girls in the gym who are "buff" or "ripped" (and that is debatable due to perspective) do it because they enjoy it, not to attract men. For one, many men do actually like that look. On a side note, osteoperosis is a very real problem for women as we age and weightlifting combats that.

Have you ever heard "French women don't get fat"? That is because they (I know, I live amongst them) drink, smoke, hardly eat, and walk everywhere. They are physically weak and struggle later in life. My very French in laws cannot lift my 33lb son because of it. Sure, they are slim, but at what cost??

I guess my point is that there is a lot to it - none of which has to do with looking good for a man, especially one like you. There will always be men available who are attracted to what you think is not ideal. So what? Again, I have a hard time believing these women have any interest in you anyways. Why would they? You sound like a dick.

Posted

It's been about 2 years since I consistently trained due to having my baby, but here I am at around 5 years weightlifting. Oh, I must be so manly and buff here  You look at too many airbrushed photos of women who are tanned & dehydrated for photographs. Real female lifters just don't look soft in person.

my girlfriends that have completed beachbody work outs ( dvds) have amazing bodies!! they aren't bulked up, they are tight and toned. a favorite amongst my friends is brazil butt lift, it's entire goal is to firm, tone, and lift the back side ;-) leaves you with a very nice tush and thighs!!! if a woman is working out like that it's not because she is trying to get the attention of "some man" it's because she wants to improve her body and feel the best about herself as she can. how "the man" feels about it could be completely inconsequential to her!!!!

the women on the p90x dvds are not bulked up either. i know that i was hesitant to try it at first because i DID NOT want to bulk up like a guy. years of soccer, ice skating, hiking and gymnastics left me with bigger thighs than i would like. the last thing i want to do is bulk them up!!!

but the tight and toned women that are being linked to in this thread, are hot and sexy in my opinion. i would rather look like them than the women who are just thin and not tight and toned. as a woman, that's my opinion!!

When i went to dance lessons, there were tons of beautiful girls(BALLROOM Dancing ) and they were beautiful and sexy. they didn't have toned ripped arms.

Plus, do you see the centanarians including my relatives being buff and ripped and toned?? no! They do other physical activity but not hard workouts to look buff.

So, the whole Working out to the max to look toned/ripped/muscled will make women healthier is not really true. Women can be healthy without working out that much. Just like I and many men aren't Workout fanatics, we just exercise lightly and we're fine.

Again, you do not understand basic physiology. Muscle mass, hypertrophy, body fat levels, and most of all, the physiology of muscle mass as one ages primarily beyond the age of 25-30 (let alone 100!).

I guess my question is this- why do you care? Again, I ask, is it because the so-called "buff" women keep asking you out on dates and you want to repel them?

We all have physical preferences in the opposite sex. Let people be who they want. There are something like 3.5 billion women in this world, why must you insult the miniscule percentage who choose to look "ripped'?? Leave them alone and your problem is solved.

I posted my hardcore workout (prebaby) body above - I had plenty of guys tell me I looked fit & good. Weightlifter of about 5 years at that point, primarily powerlifting and oly lifting. I think I looked very normal. These "buff" women you speak of... they exist mostly in manipulated magazines. I spent a lot of time in the actual bodybuilding world with those women - most of them looked "normal" in real life. You don't understand the difference between competition/magazine cover diet prep and the real world. That is because you look at a picture and make a blanket statement without any real knowledge.

What???! You're surrounded by beautiful non-ripped women?! How could that be?! I thought we all caught the buff/ripped/toned thing like a bad virus. Surely, you are only complaining about women's buffness because you run into them everywhere you go? Surely, the sheer quantity of buff/toned/ripped women out there in the world are making it nearly impossible for you to find any women beautiful? What else could explain your sortie against women doing what they want with their bodies?

Seriously, OP, you'd pick the before over the after?

http://www.infobarrel.com/Media/p90x_workout_before_and_after

It is that mindset that you have that is why people are okay being status quo and average. What's wrong with wanting to improve your health and image? It doesn't matter the reason, as long as they are improving their health along the way. I, for one, support those wanting to be healthy and fit. We already have too many people living in this country who settled to just be fine and look where we are now.

I agree with bean1, you are making a blanket statement based on pictures and a few articles. I suggest you actually hit the gym for once with a decent trainer and you'll start to see what this whole "trend" really is about. Doing ballroom dancing and "light" exercises doesn't count.

Not OP but...

On reflection, I wouldn't take either. "Before" = no boner no way no how. "After" obviously has breast implants and those are a dealkiller for me. If you took the implants off of "After" and cut the hair, you'd have a very "dudely" looking girl. Just saying. Good on her and more power for getting in shape, though, truly a great achievement between before and after.

Any man whose ever been to France will laugh at even a vague comparison between American and French women. French women are the pinnacle of all feminine beauty and charm, and while they are losing it and becomming Americanized in recent times, they are still much superior to the fatasses that you see all over the place or chisel jawed transvestites like Jillian Michaels. :lmao:

While some people like Kaylan apparently need a woman that does squats and can beat him at arm wrestling, French women are absolutely fine by every other mans standards. And what a relief to meet a woman who enjoys to drink and smoke like I do :p

I hate America, how is it possible for this society to get EVERYTHING wrong

While some people like Kaylan apparently need a woman that does squats and can beat him at arm wrestling, French women are absolutely fine by every other mans standards. And what a relief to meet a woman who enjoys to drink and smoke like I do :p

I hate America, how is it possible for this society to get EVERYTHING wrong

And all the sexy fit women I posted would be fine by every guys standards as well. I have never heard of a fit woman having ANY trouble landing all sorts of men. Go to the gym and make friends with these ladies. They are motivating and fun. Also, fit people in general are seen as universally sexy...so lets be serious.
