HappyPanda
Hi all, Im experiencing some pain on my rib cage on my right side... It feels like a dull ache, but it sharpens when I laugh or cough, or if I bend over. It is not sore to the touch however.. I dont even remember doing anything that I would think would cause this! I havent bumped into anything, I havent been coughing, so its really throwing my for a loop! Ive never injured my ribs before, so Im wondering if I may have bruised it, or if I just pulled something? Anyone else ever experienced anything like this?
creighton0123
You shouldn't come to here to ask for an opinion on chest pain. Even if it feels like it's in or just below the ribs, any prolonged or unexplainable chest pain should be properly examined in the Emergency Room.
adipex
Although pulled muscles and bruised ribs can be painful, knowing a few ways to tell them apart can help you manage the pain and stay comfortable. Understanding the way you got the injury will also help you avoid irritation or reinjury of the area. Knowing proper treatment will get you back in action as quickly as possible.
