FitChick
Intense eyes are sexy eyes! I think growing your hair out another half inch would be a subtle but significant change, especially at the sides because it would frame and slim your face. You are lucky to have such a lovely shade of red hair. Many women spend hundreds of dollars at the salon trying to achieve that! Glad to see your new avatar pic.
KathyM
To tend to think that the picture probably isn't that accurate to how a look IRL, since there are shadows on my face, and I look a lot different from how I look in the mirror. I think this pic is probably the most accurate, since I'm properly in the sunlight and there are no shadows on my face. http://s1126.photobucket.com/albums/l610/RPKGameVids/?action=view¤t=medfdfd44545.jpg I know my eyes look too intense, but I can't really help it, 99% of the time that's how they look whenever I take a picture. I like intensity in a man. A man who has a look of strength and intensity is a turn on for a lot of women. I also like blue eyes on a man. I think your eyes are your best feature. My husband has blue eyes, and I found that color attractive. I do think you should stick with dark clothing--blacks, dark greys. It balances out your light skin tone. And I would agree with Johan that getting out in the sun a bit more might be a good thing for you. I know some redheads can't take much sun before they burn, but maybe going for a walk for 20-30 minutes a day will gradually get a little color in your skin tone if you can handle that amount of sun. I'm not sure if you're one of those that can't take any sun, but if you can in small doses, that would be a good thing. It's also good exercise and is good to get out in public and out of the house. That's my suggestion anyway--dark clothing, try getting a little sun exposure if your skin can handle that, and get an opinion from an upscale hair dresser on what hair would be best for you. I still think the shaved head would suit you, though. Shaved head, black T-shirt, and jeans. And some tats on the arms. Good, strong look for you. Edgy.
HeavenOrHell
I know the thread has moved on from this post, but I'm stunned! I mean, seriously, how would you feel if someone said you look 'terrible'??? That was a such a thoughtless and insensitive thing to say. Ross, your avatar pic looks terrible. Either of the two with the darker background in your profile album would be better.
HeavenOrHell
Ross, I think you are attractive, I love redheads, my ex has amazing red hair, he has it long and shows it off. The photos of you smiling are especially attractive. I don't think you need to focus so heavily on your looks, there's really no need.
123321
This most recent avatar you have is the best, IMO. The darker shirt, ... Agree, but I'm no authority in this. However I notice he has fair skin and the darker shirt is a LOT (to my eyes) better. I was thinking something in a dark green with a collar, like a polo maybe. I know the thread has moved on from this post, but I'm stunned! I mean, seriously, how would you feel if someone said you look 'terrible'??? That was a such a thoughtless and insensitive thing to say. Reading comprehension. She said the picture wasn't good looking and that he should choose another. You even quoted the part where she suggested alternatives for ****sake.

I mean, seriously, how would you feel if someone said you look 'terrible'??? That was a such a thoughtless and insensitive thing to say. How did calling a picture terrible morph into saying ross looks terrible? I actually agree with Vertical, I like the one with the glasses the best. You actually pull off the glasses look without seeming dorky, a rare feat.
FitChick
Ross, I think wearing shades of blue would look stunning with your red hair and blue eyes. Any clear blue, even a navy, but stay away from grays and taupes which are drab. Butterscotch, tan and camel might look good, too. A clear green would look nice as well. The only way to know for sure is to try on different shades and ask the opinions of strangers in the shop, preferably women.
KathyM
Dark blues would be good on Ross, like what he has in his avatar. Greens, I think, would be too colorful. He already has the colorful red hair and the blue eyes. Green would make him even more colorful. Dark clothes on him are best, because they contrast with his light complexion. I actually saw a guy at the grocery store today with that same look I talked about--shaved head, black T shirt and black dennim jeans. He was the same build as Ross and looked great in that. He was older too, like Ross. Had a wife and daughter with him. Very cool look, IMO.

HeavenOrHell
Don't patronise me. Read her message again it says> Ross, your avatar pic looks terrible< However you might want to dress that up, it was insensitive, especially knowing Ross lacks confidence. Fair enough if you'd be fine with someone calling your photo terrible, but you'd be in the minority, most people would be understandably upset or p*ssed off by it. If so then I took what you said the wrong way the other day, I was drunk and I took it as though you was saying that 'I' look terrible. So if that's the case, then I'm sorry for getting mad. But you still could've been more tactful though. I don't really like the colour blue, but a lot of what I wear is black, and there's usually a little bit of colour with it, like orange, green, etc. Here's an example, http://www.themenswearsite.com/images/products/1280394746-25301400.jpg I know the style wont be most people's cup of tea on here, but whatever, I like it and think it really suits me. FitChick
That top is fine. You can wear black or even gray as long as the brighter color portion is close to your face. I have fair coloring and when I wear a black top, I also wear a bright, colored scarf. Otherwise it's as if the black drains color out of my face and doesn't look good. Your coloring is similar to Nicole Kidman's so see what colors she wears and try them yourself. Just don't start wearing dresses!

My girlfriend says certain pictures look awful, terrible, and bad all the time when looking through them. It doesn't mean the subject of them is awful looking, if it did she wouldn't be dating him. It means it's a bad picture. Not everyone is going to like you in every picture and every outfit. It's just something you have to get used to and deal with, or chose not to post your pics in an open forum where people are free to comment.

Just don't start wearing dresses! when I suggested a dark green shirt I was going by what *I* find attractive on women with hi hair color and skin tone, so it might have been off but that's what I like. Just off the top I can see now though that women have red hair that spills down onto the blouse so maybe that's a crucial difference.
somedude81
Wow, the Ross avatar talk is still going on? I know the thread wasn't that high of quality to begin with, but 10 pages? And most of it is all bickering.
