My ex said he was short on cash so he asked me to help pay for some of the drinks he got his cousins and I said sure. After the party he didn't say anything and was cold and distant which upset me because I thought he could be civil towards me since I just laid down 40.00 for drinks for his cousins. He hasn't said one word towards me since the party and has acted like I do not exist. I was trying to be nice towards his cousins and was hoping he would be civil and mature but that isn't the case. I feel so used right now....... He didn't use you. You allowed yourself to be used. If this is the guy that lied and cheated on you, then it's your fault for expecting decent and mature behavior from someone who has time and time again shown you otherwise. You are accountable for making the choice to pay knowing the type of person he is. Next time, set boundaries if you have to be around him. You hoped that your gesture would help gain some sort of acceptance from him. I can't see any other reason seeing how badly he has treated you. Link to post Share on other sites
