StunnaWitFlyIce
I am in my freshman year, at a new school, and theres nobody here i know to talk to. Throught the year i have talked to a few people and sorta came to a friend, we both were very alike, but recently because of depression i stopped being around him, and now he is around females more and he gets to touch them and joke around with them, i have never had a gurlfriend or have been close to anyone. i dont have any form of self asteem, and i am jelouse because me and hiim act so alike, but he is getting all the female attention, i dont think i will ever have a chance for being around a female. what do i do with me enormous jelousy of my old friend? (he oes have an edge over me because he knew some of the gurls previously from his middle school, and me unfairly im the only person who goes to my highschool from my middle school, it seems that all the odds are stacked against me) please help me. dyermaker
As for this friend, he doesn't act "just like you." He has confidence in himself, and the girls (who have the unfortunate ability to read minds) are getting that from him. You need to stop saying you're ugly. You need to stop thinking the odds are stacked against you. And you need to not sorround yourself with people who make you uncomfortable about yourself. Join clubs, play sports, there is just too many reasons not to be a loner in high school.
