Dust, you basically just said: "here are the top 6 things that trigger, fear anger and loathing in you, you are completely helpless and at their mercy. Now relax, forget about them and enjoy life."

 

Ha ha, so simple! Right?

 

He's right though. The first step is to learn to trust yourself. What Woggle doesn't say, in fact often makes a point of denying, is that he's pretty sure he would be destroyed if his wife didn't turn out to be the one after all. It isn't possible to feel secure or look at things realistically or objectively when a total personal catastrophe is just one bad decision away.

 

Finding out your wife doesn't love you is not the end of the world. It isn't even the worst thing that can happen to you. Guys deal with that every day. They move on to happier lives with other women. They heal and grow.

The thing is that I don't fall in love easily. I went on tons of dates between marriages and while I liked some of them I only fell in love with my current wife.

 

I did not expect to fall in love. I was all ready to live my playboy lifestyle and then she comes into my life and I felt things I thought were dead after my divorce. Of course I am scared about losing it all.

I'm not here to give you sugar coated bull****. Women arn't all hugs and kisses. They can get down right mean. They can make you feel like crap and will often kick you when your down.

 

But they also bring a lot of beauty and fun into your life. You can't control if a woman loves or hates you. The guys who post here most worried about women being mean and liking them have the most problems. Just enjoy what you can control. Realize that if your wife leaves you or starts hating or other wise disrespecting you that things will ok. Its not the end of the world.
