FightClub
I recently heard a few songs that have helped me be calm and relax, to be able to heal and really feel good after listening to them. I'd like to post one of them and ask everyone to post a particular song or songs that really motivate you or help you heal in the long the run! Gotye - 'Somebody that I used to know ', really love the part where he says, 'Now you're just somebody that I used to know' -FC Edited February 2, 2012 by FightClub

U472439
Fleetwood Mac "storms" - the songs really seems like it's about an affair that ended, and how the more time passes, the more the pain eases, and the singer in fact wonders if she ever really loved this person. FM in general write pretty good broken relationship songs
10yrs
Great thread. I always think of the lyrics in this oldie but goodie.. Great clips in the video, too.

Fitz
One of my favorite songs is: "The Name of This Thing Is Not Love" By Elvis Costello. It's a rock song with snarly attitude and I love listening to it when I get a little pissed off about my ex. The Name Of This Thing Is Not Love - Elvis Costello & The Imposters - Words (there's a button in this link where you can hear a sample of the song) I'm a betrayed fiance' but the song works for anyone in a questionable relationship. A relationship that felt like love at first, but you've learned that it wasn't really love at all.
Author FightClub
Fitz, Great choice! I heard this recently on a friends playlist. Something about Marvin Gaye's 'What's going on/What's happening brother' song really inspires me. ' We've got to find a way to bring some understanding' is a good line about moving and understanding 'what's going on' in our life.
