KJauron
I'm at a good weight for my height, I think I'm in the 51st percentile or so for my BMI... but I have this stubborn tummy fat that I can't get to go away. Any tips? I also have track season coming up in about two weeks (It's never gone away during any of my past 4 seasons), so there's some time that I can definitely devote to working out more. I don't really need to lose a lot of weight, if anything maybe ten pounds tops, I'd just really like a flat stomach. Any help is greatly appreciated
maryjones
Some exercise like Aerobic exercise are really good to rid of stomach roll.
redhighheels
There's no such thing as stubborn fat..it's just fat. The lower area of the stomach is always the last one to lean out. You can't spot reduce (lose fat just from one bodypart), you will have lose fat overall. Bottom line, you have to eat less and, ideally, incorporate some weight training into your schedule. Weight loss is primarily a question of diet.
FitChick
If you've been running track and still haven't lost weight, eat less.
BewitchedandBothered
We all have stunning abs under there;) It's just covered by a layer of fat. I have been taking boot camp classes at my local gym and I also take an Abs class. My trainer says to add cardio to this, such as 30 minutes on the elliptical. Spot training doesn't help; gotta work the whole bod. Whenever you are working out, pull in the gut; you are working your core that way. See if you can spice up your routine; sometimes doing the same workouts, your body gets used to it and therefore doesn't respond. Hope your health is good and you are feeling fine:)

You need to expand more energy than you take in. Whether that deficit comes from diet or whether it comes from doing cardio, health benefits aside, you will have the same result. If a cookie has 200 calories, I can burn those 200 calories on a treadmill or I can just not eat the cookie. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not eat the cookie.
