tallandtall
My GF of 5 years now and I are getting another place together. (i'm 28, she's 24) we broke up once last year in August, but got back together. Then we broke up again in December she moved out with a friend, then we got back together two months ago. we mainly broke up because we were a 24/7 couple. everything was so good but after a while she felt like she needed to be indie for a while to do things on her own, have her own place, try new things, figure out her career choice, etc. She did that, I supported her but with heartbreak. We both told each other we loved each other, But that we needed to do this. Anyway, were back together and it feels so much stronger than before. She stil hasn't figured out her career choice but got some stuff out of her system.. We've talked things out made differnet choices and decided to open up more communication lines between us...We just got a place together. We move in this weekend....But a few of my friends and my mother seem leary about the whole thing like maybe she's just moving back with me because it didn't work out on her own. But she says she knows i'm the one and even has been hinting about marriage and babies with me MORE than she ever has in the 5 years we were together. She hints a lot that she wants me to ask her to marry her, when before, she was do it every once in a while. I really love her, I stood by her and helped her out and supported her during our break, but gave her space and was even pushing for her to stay in her new apartment, but she wants to be with me Do you guys think it's a bad move?? DaiseyEyes
You must keep in mind that it is very difficult for a person to change, especially in a short amount of time. If you really think that she has changed, then no, it's not a bad idea to move in together. As for getting married and having kids, it would be wise to wait awhile, just to make sure. Take this one step at a time.
