MarkTW Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I'm wondering if I seem to be the only man going through this. 6 years ago I was a then 22 year-old college student when she broke up with me (we were in a 3 year relationship). I've tried everything but at times slightly get reminded of something and the remote possibility of getting back together some day. I stupidly accepted her friend request on facebook (I couldn't say no) and till this day on an old shoe box is our picture from Sept 2003, when we first, when it all started for me. At times I've accidentally called out her name in my sleep (an ex gf told me so) or do it while I'm with another woman. She is the only single woman I can't get over. While they could go to bars, get drunk and go from woman to woman I can't. I tried to do that once after the break-up but immediately felt disgusted and walked away, couldn't do it.
