whorse58
My wife and I have been married for 24 yrs. In Feb 2003 she said she wanted to split. We have tried working things out staying together, but have a hard time getting along with each other. I love her and I am trying ,but she says you've said that before and no change. Maybe we need away from each other but she thinks that won't change me or the way she feels. Would a Legal Seperation benefit us that it would be easier to be away from each other before we go the avenue of divorce? What would be our next step?
supermom
If I were you, talk about seperating before divorce. You and your wife may not be ready to divorce, and having some time apart may make you both see what you each need to do to continue your marriage. Divorce is a BIG STEP, the ending....give it some time, and try counceling, either individual or together. Good luck
