marx1306 Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 may 2 or 3 years ago i told my now best friend that i liked her, only to be shot down in flames for another friend of ours. (soon after i told her we decided to forget about it and we became closer) their relationship didnt last a month until she broke up with him because they basically stopped all contact. a year later she then went out with a work mate but ended it because he stopped acknowledging her. in these 2 years i have had a girlfriend for 9 months but am now broken up. i am in the army now and shes at uni, but we catch up whenever i have leave and im in town. annoyingly my feelings have come back, just because we talk and text all the time, even skype a few times a week. sometimes because of her quick replies on a text of just what she says in a conversation, i get the idea that she might have some feelings for me too. i just am not sure about what i should do? should i tell her? even though last time she didnt like me? or am i just thinking that all these little signs mean more just because i want them to?? any advice or comments appreciated Link to post Share on other sites

You have already played your hand by telling her you like her, she knows, and you killed the mystery for her. Anytime you are available for her, you kill any chances. You have to be too busy for her sometimes, dont tell her you like her. Let her wonder about it, she wants to. Bottom line, dont bother. if she really saw you as someone she could really fall for, she would be making it clear to you, you wouldnt have to ask. Forget about her, and find someone who is into you.
