Pyrannaste Posted June 7, 2004 Share Posted June 7, 2004 Did anyone here become addicted to trading card games like Magic: the Gathering? That stuff is worse than cigarettes. I remember spending the whole 500$ prize I won in a high school competition in cards when I was 17. I gave up that stuff after spending tons of money on it for two years, but it was hard and it took me some force of will, I had to keep to repeat myself I was spending a lot of momey on *pieces of paper*. And I suppose that after 7 years I am not completely through it. After watching 'the return of the king' I was about to buy a box of middle earth card game cards on e-bay. Darn. Pookette Posted June 7, 2004 Share Posted June 7, 2004 LOL I spent all my allowance on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cards when I was younger. It took me about two years to get the whole set, plus stickers. I still have all of them stashed away somewhere, including the gum that came with them. My main love was and still is comic books.
