I was with a girl for 5 years before her, and our relationship was much more magical than the girl i was with for 5 years. cincinnatikid Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 nick_d, just one question.. how old are you? unless your 50 or older, id say you should be embarrassed to write this. i do not mean to be hurtful to you as much as that may sound. your (our) whole lives are ahead of us up until the very day we meet our maker. the time you had with her may have been the most magical times of your life up to this point. for your sake yes, cherish them, for they are surely a gift. for you and for her. look around and take a deep breath (as hard is that may seem to be right now for you). have you ever seen the movie "the man without a face" with mel gibson when he writes the letter to the young boy? at the end of the note he writes .. "the best is yet to be Norstadt!" i think that applies to all of us. we just have to be open to it some how. i wish you the best nick. i can assure you many great things are ahead for you. just be open and ready when they come to you. you will know what they are when they do. If you want to be happier and have a happily ever after, you will work towards it.
