digger
i know i post alot but its great therapy living in a strange city and going thru Divorce on top of it. My wife filed march 1 and continues the old 'i dont love you anymore' routine after 21 yrs. BUT, intertangled with comments like "ill think about it" after i mention reconciliation, the D must be final by June 28 or dismissed. My paperwork (wants) has been in for sometime and i told my lawyer not to contact hers at all. Let him do it. Well he was out of the country til June 1--here we are June 8--and i still havent heard from her side. All she has to do is agree to the terms. i would think if she wanted the D so bad she'd get on with it. But nothing is coming--at least thru today. Could this be a sign??? Might she be thinking it over? i mean she sounds so adamant in person i would think shed be pushing to get it over with.
azgirl
You know something. A lot of us post on here pining after someone who said, "I don't love you anymore." Why, digger?? Why?? Why would we want to be with someone who does not love us anymore?? Just because we love them doesn't mean they are automatically going to love us back. Unfortunately we can't make somebody be with us if they don't want to. I'm not sure what the hold up is with the paperwork. Is there anyone you can contact to invesitgate this. I truly hope for your sake that she is reconsidering.
Author digger
thanks i hope so too. One minute i get "i dont love you anymore" (which i refuse to believe after 21 yrs of marriage) and 20 seconds later i'll mention reconciliation and get "i'll think about it"--though not in the nicest voice.
