T-Mac Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 When my girl broke things off with me, I wrote a 2 page second chance letter that night, and was convinced it would get her back. When I woke up in the morning and re-read it, I decided it was a terrible idea. best move i ever made by not sending that letter. It only makes you look desperate in my opinion. The best advice I got was to just do nothing. It's was more effective.
favoritepills Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I wrote a farewell letter that I'm glad I never sent. It was just to get the thoughts and emotions out. Now, I just post my second chance thoughts on the "post here instead of contacting your ex" thread. I'm determined that any second chance we have absolutely HAS to be initiated by him, since he was the one who left me.
LasVegasGuy Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Yes I have wrote a letter to my ex, all it did was make them question there decision, although it wasn't enough to make them want to get back together, it served it purpose. Makes you feel better once you do write those letters, if you don't get a response back it can make you feel really crappy and embarrassed and such, but no feeling is worse as "If only I would have", atlest you know you tried.
