Any here ever lost feelings for their ex boyfriends/girlfriends then realised they haven't? any under what circumstances did it happen? boredom? routine? arguments? neglect? would like to hear if there is such thing

I would say it was triggers that reminded me of her. Missing the routine, the person being around, and having a beautiful body next to me.

Overtime, that subsides.

But have you ever thought that you lost feelings due to boredom and/or routine relationship only to realise after you have broke up that you haven't really lost those feelings? but by being so bored and sick of doing the same thing everyday made you think otherwise?

absolutley.

i was the dumper and i was bored of the relationship. we kept sleeping together for a month after but then the day she told me we had to stop i instantly regretted everythihng and now i am still hurt... 7 months later.

my advice to anyone else in that situation would be to take a break. but do not break up, give yourself an opportunity to realise what you have got before its gone.

It should be about spending time with someone you love so much that routine becomes a part of something you enjoy....

You must not think is the same s... everyday but a new day could bring something else.

You should be looking into long term not short term.

I never ever ever got bored with my ex in the 5 years we were together....if I saw it was becoming a routine then we would plan something.....

Is these type of negative attitudes that destroy relationships....

so you broke up with your partner because you thought you lost feelings but then realised it was only because you got bored of the relationship? yeah i think a break would have been the best option..

It's called GIGS...we don't appreciate our current partner. We meet someone new whom we idealize as "better". We dump our current partner only to realize that the new person is:

1. Trash

2. Garbage

3. Can't even stand in the shadow of the ex we dumped

4. What the hell was I thinking?!!!

yeah i read about GIGS too, just wondering whether down the line they think .. "****! i made a mistake". I guess it's true as we get older, we have different expectations of our partners but it doesn't mean to throw it all down the drain just because you think the grass is greener.

I dislike routine and boredom. Some routine is ok but once in awhile we need to get some excitement. My ex counted on me to initiate, plan, and do everything.
