I am so tired of being unhappy, depressed, crying and sad and upset ALL the time! In starting to really wonder if i will EVER be happy! Icant take much more of being sad and crying, the worst part is that the man i fell in love with and the only person in my life that made me happy and smile has basically left, he told me today that he doesnt want a relationship, hes not ready! been dating off and on 10 mths and he finally he tells me hes waiting for his ex to come back from CA! wow! so hes been stringing me along for 10 mths! i poured my heart to him

i thought since we were spending more time together again recently it was going good the way i wanted it, nut nope

and now there is absolutely nothing in my life positive, no job, no money, no boyfriend, no friends no social life, I'm so bored I just want to take a pill go to sleep and wake up somewhere else and start new

How long has it been? Take one day at time - Heck even one hour at a time if you need. There has to be some sliver of positive in your life - family?, pet? your health? Try to focus even for a second on something positive - I know its tough - I am there now too - but its been about 2 weeks & it does get a little better - I am still very very sad but I now feel like I can breathe just a bit better. The pain is getting easier to deal with - its not a constant - I get a break here and there

Okay, okay, Alexa, listen to me. Take it one day at at time.

First thing first. DON'T worry about being single. Start focusing on yourself and chipping away at your problems a little at a time.

overweight: start taking walks. They don't have to be long walks. Take one or a few a day.

Work: You are not working. But it sounds like you need to get out of your house. Do some research and look into some volunteer opportunitites near where you are where you can be around people: a school, church, food pantry, etc. Try to find something within walking distance. There's lots of volunteer opportunities on the internet as well.

high blood pressure: going on walks will help. Look into some deep breathing and meditation techniques. Eat lots of veggies. Eat some fruit...actual fruit, don't drink a lot of fruit juice or fruit drink. Plus see a doctor. If you can't afford one, go to social services and find out if there is a place where you can see a doctor for low cost or free. Talk to the doctor about your hair loss too.

Go to your local library to get books or CDs on meditation and eating healthy.

depression: Call local universities to see if you can get counseling for free. Clinical psychology and counseling psychology graduate students provide therapy to the public for free or low cost.

ok, I do as much as i can for all the situations:

I walk everyday(well 4-5 times a week) after lunch

I am home 24/7

no gas in car so only places within walking distance is pizza shop, urgent care, pawn shop and liquor store,

I have applied to 300 jobs, no luck yet, only 1 interview last yr

have applied for many volunteer jobs but turned down due to court record from 2000! strange b/c i know ppl who have been to jail, drugs, alcohol, beat ppl up and have a really good paying job! smdh!

I try to eat as healthy as possible, but kinda hard when i only have $100 a month for food and dont like many fruits or veggies

i did see a dr many times and also a psychiatrist also, but it didnt help, just sitting there weekly just made me cry and sad the same as usual.

my friends have lifes, boyfriends, 2 or 3 kids a 8-10 hr job a day,

if i just had a job i know things would be a little better b/c i wouldnt be bored 18 hrs a day! i spend 4-5 aday on computer looking for job and selling stuff on ebay just to pay a bill or buy TP!

I want to open my own store but cant without $

Hi. Different theapists have different forms of therapy. Some involve you just talking. Some involve you doing actual assignments like drawing pictures, homework and more.

Most psychiatrists don't do a lot of therapy. They may talk for 50 minutes, but they are basically there because they are giving you meds. Psychologists are the talking therapy people and there are many different types. Cognitive-behavioral psychologists prescribe homework so you can actively help yourself.

I'm sorry things are going so bad for you. Since you have access to the internet, consider doing volunteer work over the internet. There's tons of projects.

There is an organization that is trying to help people in various countries who are in jail because of their religious beliefs. You can email politicans and other political figures to advocate for these people. There are tons of projects to do with many organizations.

I once worked on a database for an orphangae that was trying to start their own hospital. I contacted various companies for donations. The orphanage was in Africa. I am in the United States.
