Is it ok to put laxative milk on the cheater's plate?

This is what my best friend did to her now ex fiance before breaking up. From what I heard is the guy had to use the bathroom badly the following day.

But she was crushed and still is. He cheated on her last month. If she only did it once and it's not something the man will seriously be harm (unless she were to stay with him and continue doing it), is it ok as a way to at least make him suffer a bit?

Ok, so he suffered a bit, but how did that make her feel? You said she still is crushed. Doesn't that answer the question?

This person will suffer with their decisions and guilt later in life if and when they mature. If not, they will suffer with immaturity their whole life. The person cheated on will win in the long run and should just focus on healing, not revenge.

"We should not seek revenge on those who have committed crimes against us, or reply to their crimes with other crimes. We should reflect that by the law of karma, they are in danger of lowly and miserable lives to come, and that our duty to them, as to every being, is to help them to rise towards Nirvana, rather than let them sink to lower levels of rebirth."

I'm all for killing a cheater.

Just kidding.

You know, to my knowledge, I have never been cheated on (although an ex did accuse me of it and started dating someone else like a week later, which seriously makes me wonder, but I don't care anymore. The other ex was hung up on HIS ex). I can't imagine the pain and grief of knowing someone has deceived you. I really can't fathom it. And I can't sit here and claim I can't understand people who find their lovers in bed with someone else and erupt into a fit of violence.

But there are serious ramifications here. What if he were to compile enough evidence to show that she poisoned him? While I wouldn't go to the police for something like that, I can very much believe that others would. Is a cheating rat really worth fines, community service, possible jail time? He has already taken enough from her.

IMO, OP, she need not put even MORE of herself on a platter for the cheater's taking. It's not okay.

Nope, its not okay from a legal or a medical stance.

But then again...its never been okay in my book to dine with or feed a cheater. I think this "friend" may find out some day that justice/revenge is best served...cold and with a shoulder involved.

Well, I don't know. I'm on the fence on this one.

It can be reported as a criminal act if fiance finds out. Or she could just say, "I thought he was having a little trouble sh*tting, since most of it comes out of his mouth, so I thought I'd try to help him a little bit";)

Saltpeter would seem like a more appropriate 'remedy', especially if he likes his food 'salty' ;)

I'd love to have heard a story like this one. Lets see him cheat, or get women to be with him when he can't get his pathetic little pecker up.

I agree. What she should have done is simply thrown all his belongings out on the lawn and tell him to pick them up.

I think anger got the best of her. That's a strong emotion and it can happen to anyone. I don't know why people cheat. I hate that.

If it gave your friend a little bit of satisfaction that he suffered, then i think it served its purpose. Its obvious reading some of the past posts in this section that people have different outlooks on cheating/revenge. I was really surprised reading a thread here where most of the posters attacked the women who slapped her bf when she discovered he had been cheating on her. A number of them where saying they would run to their lawyer/police if it happened to them. I'd love to see a judge judy case where the cheating bf is suing his gf for distress over laxative 'posioning?'.

I'm someone who believes in revenge, though I didn't do anything vengeful to the women who cheated on me, but I don't blame anyone in the heat of the moment doing a spiteful act to get back at their partner, as long as its not extreme, and giving them a laxative certainly does not cross over that boundary for me. He'll get over it in a day, she won’t.

While kinda funny, what she did could be considered poisoning/assault [consult a lawyer].

Just like those men who use date-rape drugs, if your friend is found out [you really think that stuff posted on the interwebs is not logged ??] she will go to jail for it and you will be an accesory [this thread being the proof].

Do you still find it funny OP ?

Do you still think that 'anger got the best of her' ?

Let me pose a small hypothetical situation on you OP.

What if this guy had actually went into shock/died because of a bad reaction to the substance or to the cocktail of substances in his stomach as most drugs are not allowed be taken with certain other drugs.

Women have died from the date-rape drug i mentioned above. You think some ppl in the world haven't died from a bad reaction to diuretics ?

OP, your friend's fiance might have been immature and he might grow out of it [or not], but your friend is a ****ed-up person who i really hope ends up in jail.

And this comes from someone who knows quite well how it is to be cheated on and who has entertained these thoughts.
