FitChick
You may have already seen this in Yahoo News. I eat all of these foods on a regular basis just because I like them and I'm seldom depressed. It explains how they affect your mood for the better.
Jadempk
That is a great article! For some reason I find having a bannana can also improve my spirits - maybe it's because they are such a cheerfull colour! lol
Anela
I know that a lack of exercise, and this issue I have with vomiting, has contributed to my depression (amongst other things, like nasty people). I love omelets, but eggs hardly ever stay with me. I won't eat fish, but I do like flax oil mixed into things, when I can keep it down. I have some sort of kombucha mixed with green tea, that's supposed to help with digestive issues, but it's got fruit added - fruity tea gives me acid. I take flower essences, whenever I remember. I have one for resentment, several for depression, anxiety, etc. I love the essences from Masters Essences and from Eileen Nauman, and occasionally Bach essences. I've found that I'll feel something within fifteen minutes to two hours, if they're going to work. Also, I started to take a little bit of an HGH supplement here and there - not a full dose, and taken like a homeopathic medicine - because I can't throw it up.
