tameee
Bottom line: Most of the time I feel unattractive. I try not to compare myself to other girls but sometimes I feel I can't control it. I have hereditary acne (NOTHING works; my sister had to get on accutane) and feel unbeautiful without makeup. I know I should shut the hell up and get over it because there are other terrible things that could happen to me. Does anyone have any advice on how to accept yourself and feel confident with the way you are?
Mr Scorpio
I don't have any advice per se, but for me personally acne isn't a "deal-breaker" to a girl being attractive.
Philosoraptor
Realize that you are as unique as everyone else. We all have wonderful points and flaws. It's important to focus on our good parts and realize what a catch we are, rather than the "bad" parts and demoralize ourselves.
perryb13
As a man, I can tell you that you don't need to be "hot" to be attractive to someone. I'm often times way more attracted to a girl's personality than to their looks. Usually, I like them as a person and then I just learn to love everything about them, even though they probably don't look like a supermodel (who the hell does??). Find something about yourself that you like (doesn't have to be something physical) and be proud of it. I'm a musician myself (drums) and I'm normally not very confident at all. But, as soon as I start playing, I become a completely different person. I'm still trying to figure out how to transfer that confidence to every day life haha. Hope this helps!!
