I have always felt that he is the one, but for some reason we just couldn't make it work. We never even officially broke up. He quit calling me and I quit calling him. It was so hard in the beginning because he worked next door to the store in which I worked. He came over everyday to buy a coke or food. I usually just acted like he was any other customer, like I didn't know him. I now regret that I did not try harder. We we began to date I was very quiet and shy. I was always scared to look stupid in front of him so I stayed silent. Now, I realize this was a lot of the reason we broke up. He must have been so bored with me. He's been dating a girl for the past two years. They broke up and she is engaged to someone else. I want to talk to him. I want him to see the person that I really am, not the quiet,shy girl I used to be. I'm scared to call him. I have no idea how he would react. My friends tell me he feels bad about what happened with me, but that doesn't mean he wants to talk to me. His birthday is coming up and I thought I could sent him a card. I thought it would be a little gesture to let him know I'm at least thinking about him. Now I'm not sure about it. What should I do? Link to post Share on other sites
Cuddles_Well Posted June 17, 2004 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I think it would be a good idea to send a friendly birthday card, no gifts though. keep the card simple, maybe write thing about you, or give me a call sometime. it'll be up to him to respond, if he doesn't then you'll know he's moved on, but at least you tried.
