Gdunkman
I've already done a lot of things this year like moving to the other country, finding a new job, and even got promotion once after three months in the company. Suddenly I started to feel like my batteries ran down, I just have enough energy to go to work, and nothing more, up to the point that I spent the whole weekend sleeping or lying in bed, while the things I have to do for myself are piling up. The weather was appropriate, strong wind and raining or snowing all the time. Is there any way to fight it? I think it might be spring vitamin deficiency? Going on vacation would be a great solution, but I can't afford it now, as I need to save some money, because I move again in the end of June. I would understand my condition if my work consumed to much of my energy, but the work I do is just fine, I feel mostly relaxed there, while coping with all my duties well. Any help would be appreciated.
january2011
I read somewhere that motivation comes after action. So, whatever it is, just do it. Even if it's just for 10 minutes. Give yourself permission to stop at 10 minutes, but if you want to carry on, then carry on. You may find that all you need is to build up momentum and that will carry you through. This is of course after you've ruled out any physical or environmental cause for your apparent 'laziness'.
tman666
You may want to take a look at your diet and, if you're not already doing so, start exercising regularly. While it might be hard to fathom doing in your drained state, regular exercise can help a lot with your energy levels. I cannot emphasize enough how important diet is to your energy levels and mood. Make sure you're eating plenty of lean protein, veggies, healthy fats (natural peanut butter, avocados, olive oil, etc.) and drinking a gallon of water per day. You also may want to look into supplementing vitamin D. I would recommend at least 2,000 iu per day. If all of this stuff is already in check, you might want to get checked out by a doc for depression. From your post, you don't sound like an inherently lazy person.
