For example if you're 18-25 and you were drinking, partying and that sort of thing and you cheated on a good partner... would you feel remorse years later? If ever? They may regret it because they got caught and their world came crashing down but deep down they loved every second of it. I've read a few threads from people who've cheated... why would they say they regret it? Sometimes I've done things or said something nasty to someone and I'll regret hurting that person later... so just wondering if cheating was like that? Hopefully I will never find out for myself. I know i have the capacity to be a good cheater [not get caught]. Just to slip up once and if i get away with it, it could become addicted ... i might lose my future family/wife. I believe that we all have the capacity to cheat, weather we choose to do it or not is entirely up to us. And this belief of mine is why i think you are right, ppl generally don't listen or can empathise with 'don't do unto others' ... even the highly religious ones. That and our ego's survival instinct is what keeps these WS from actually breaking down and crying at the hurt they caused others. Some do get to this point, but not many.
