Now less than two months!!!

Recommended Posts

Now, we are less than two months away from our wedding. I am getting so excited!

My wedding party threw me a surprise shower on the weekend and my fiance's family is throwing one this weekend. Let me tell you, it gets pretty embarrassing opening all thoses presents - it's like Christmas - only you are the only ones getting presents.

Any last minute advice/tips from newlyweds on what I should do to make sure everything flows smoothly for the wedding?

Debster - the day of the wedding all you should do to make sure everything flows smoothly is be well rested from the night before, make sure to eat a nice breakfast and light snack (depending on time of your wedding) to combat all the excitement and nerves, enjoy your hair and makeup appointments and be the most beautiful bride in the world.

It's your day (well it's yours and your future hubby's day, but it's the day most girl have planned all of their lives and so it's your day - ALL EYES ON YOU). Rejoice in knowing that the man at the end of the alter is your best friend, lover, soulmate and you are embarking upon the greatest journey of your life. And no matter what, realize/understand/accept/expect that **** happens no matter how perfectly you plan things - just take it all in stride and know that you're probably the only person who knows when something is wrong - just let it roll of your shoulders - ENJOY IT- you're becoming Mrs. _________ and that's what matters the most.

Congratulations!

I'll second Kirkyswife. The very best thing you can do is not to expect it to all go smoothly. Be prepared for mixups or problems, and to take them in stride. Go determined to enjoy yourself at your own party and do that! If something goes wrong, look for the humour in it.

Remember that a lot of people say the wedding and reception are blurs afterward because they were so busy, so take time to pause and imprint your feelings and some of what's going on in your memory. And for goodness' sakes - EAT! :) You won't do yourself any favours to try to go the day on no food.

Congrats from me, too. :)
