Fayebelle
You're right- that is hypocritical. But I think its more sad than funny.
dyermaker
Originally posted by little lamb Irregardless to if children, teenagers, liked that man, they all know of this predicament that he was in, and now as a leader, and resorted to saying that "oral sex isn't real sex -- even the president says so". Complete (and untrue) speculation. I'm willing to bet I've been around a lot more children and teenagers lately, and I've never heard that excuse. Most of the time it falls somewhere between, "She was willing" and "It feels good" He lied under oath about it, which in and of itself is another entire case, and yet, because of his power, he has gotten away with adultery that will stain the american image as well as it has set a standard of oral sex being okay, just like kissing....but just so everyone is well aware, it is said that oral sex for a male is even more powerful than intercourse, so great our middle schoolers are experiecing "not real sex" now... Middle schoolers don't care about semantics. I'm interested in what standard was used to measure the "power" of oral sex vs. regular intercourse. As far as middle schoolers having sex, if their parents have created an atmosphere in which that's remotely alright (read: Not an ex-President's fault, it's their parents. A sixth grader would be 7 years old when Clinton left office, I doubt he holds much influence) at least their not getting pregnant. i am not trying to slam our past leaders, but I don't really regard clinton as a leader...just a name behind a title... Then you're totally ignoring his accomplishments based on what the media made of him. Similiar to how everyone seems to be overlooking Reagan's failures based on what the media made of him. therresa kennedy
Hi Kiababy, and others, What an interesting topic. If Clinton said he did it because "I could", I believe that was very much part of his motivation. Sometimes I think it is simply because they, the MM want more of a good thing, and with Clintion, I think this was also part of it. He, being a hearty sexual male who enjoyed sex very much he simply found that his wife could not satisfy all of his needs or desires. Sure he was a serial adulterer, that's well known, but he has also stated that he suffered from (sexual addiction), or this according to Gennifer Flowers, this is as I recall it, she had read to him certain symptoms of the dysfunction to him and he had grown quiet, listening intently as she detailed the classic symptoms of sexual addiction. I read this somewhere, I can't recall where, maybe it was in that Monica L. book. Yes, I did buy and read the darn thing, it was a hoot! And for the record, being as I am against cheating, I have to say that I really LOVE monica, she is a fine girl, and I always have thought that her vilification was undeserved, she was so incredibly young and naive. But I am a firm believer in the theory that men often cheat not because their wife is a lousey lay, but because they simply want more sugar. He knew he could and he did. I am a real fan of Clinton, I voted for him both times and like the slogan goes, NO ONE DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED! This is just my two cents, and I don't expect everone to agree with me. Hope you're fine Kia, that guy of yours sounds interesting. Best Regards to you and all others.
Mr Spock
Therresa, it just sounded like you EXCUSED him for having extra marital affairs........really it did. Never mind the fact he lied under oath, and in some states commited a crime (which ones is fellatio illegal in again?)
therresa kennedy
Hi Spock, Are you looking for my posts? I have to admit, I have looked for yours, so there, we're even! Yes, I quess you could say I was excusing him, well, I dunno, I always liked him, always, I even had an erotic dream about him once. OH, I'M SO ASHAMED!! Jus kidden. I have learned to be a bit more tolerant of those who stray, and I AM still trying to be more understanding. It IS true, I have been far too critical and bitchy on this forum. To YOU and Kia I will apologise, no others though. I am trying to change that, my quick tougne, or in this case fingers, and see more humor in others posts and in my posts as well. There are still certain posters, who shall remain nicknameless, who still test the boundaries of reasonable logic, etc, but I am trying to be a bit more laid back. Best Regards,
