falling out of love...i think

Recommended Posts

Candy cane, I have a question about that though.

I know its usually conventional wisdom to just say, "everything's great" and I really do think that is the right thing to do

but whenever I think of running into my SO, since everything ended amicably and I was under the belief that this was hard on both of us equally, I feel I would want to say something like "well, it is tough, but i'm doing very well"

What do you think?

stand strong with the "everything's great?

I think that's cool. I think you can still be honest and maintain a positive attitude. Me personally...I can't get into all that stuff with my ex. I don't trust him anymore and have lost respect for him. Hence, the "everything's great" works well for me.

And Zoey...if you're in that stage of saying nothing, then that's fine. I was in that stage too for awhile...but then I decided that I didn't want him to think I was mad or bothering me in any way, shape or form. So...a quick response was best for me. It got him to go away for awhile.
