Really don't know what's best to do here

My girlfriend told me the other day that this guy called her up through the night and wanted to have sex with her. She never would but it's who the guy was that's making this hard for me.

 

It was her sisters boyfriend. This guy has cheated on her more than once but she's been back with him for a little while now. The hardest part for me is when I have to listen to her family (who already hate him) talk about how good he's doing and that maybe he will be faithful and all this other crap.

 

The day I found out was on her sister's birthday, so I had to go over there with this guy and her sister and try to act like everything's fine. They also have 2 daughters so I also had to sit there and watch their daughter draw a picture that said "I love you Daddy" on it.

 

My girlfriend thinks it's best if we don't tell anyone but I'm the opposite and think it needs to come out. I'm just looking for some other opinions...mostly what would be best for the kids because that's where we're disagreeing the most. Because I think it's worse to let them grow up in a situation like that and she thinks it'll hurt more when they're dad is gone. From what I can tell, the only reason they're together is because of the kids. I'll also point out that he did this the night of his daughters birthday party

I'm with you. She should know. Your GF should tell her sister what kind of guy she's with.

 

Would your GF want her sister to keep quiet if you cracked onto her? Or would sh want to know?

Would you want your brother to keep quiet if your GF cracked onto him? Or would you want to know?
