BetheButterfly
Hello, Happy Mother's Day!!! To all the Moms out there, thanks so much for your love, kindness, patience, gentleness, and affection!!! Thank you for enduring the discomfort of pregnancy - loving the bulge in your midsection, stopping smoking or other harmful addictions in order to protect the health of the baby, experiencing giving birth, holding your baby in your arms close to your heart, feeding the hungry mouth, kissing the little hands and feet, changing dirty stinky diapers, soothing distressed cries, at all hours of the day and night - giving You to your baby!!! Thank you for all the care you give... every minute you think about your child(ren), every second spent talking tenderly to them, singing softly for them, spending time with them as they grow. Thank you for teaching them how to use the potty. Thank you for teaching how to tie one's shoes. Thank you for comforting them when they're sick. Thank you for teaching them how to share, how to care for others, how to take care of animals, how to be gentle, how to give happily without expecting anything back, how to make a bed and take care of the house, how to brush one's hair and wash one's face, how to complete homework, how to write neatly, to be creative, for praising our talents and encouraging us to grow in them, for teaching us to respect our teachers and to obey the law of the land, and the list of what you do goes on and on and on and on and on... Thanks for all your hard work!! For Moms who work outside the home, thank you for making money to provide for your child(ren.) For single Moms, thank you for enduring hard times without much help from the Dad, but for enduring hard times and working so hard for your children. Thank you for providing for them and loving them and doing your best to take care of them. For Moms who believe in God, thank you so much for telling us about God, and for teaching us how to pray, how to refrain from cursing and worrying, but rather how to pray and live for God. Thank you for your helping the poor, making yummy meals for us and for those in need of help, using your talents to make the world a better place, teaching us to give good gifts to others out of love for God, to love God and to love others. Thank you so much for being the heart of the home, the best friend, the person who believes in us no matter our past. Thank you Moms for all the sacrifices you have made for your children, for putting them above you in priorities. Thank God for Moms!!!
