FightClub
I wasn't sure where to post this at first but this seems like one of the best places to ask this question. Something I've observed over the last couple of years in retrospect is how a situation or time in my life has it's moments & exists to serve a purpose so I could learn. If I hadn't learned the lesson, it has always felt like life has a way of reinforcing the lesson until I got it right or at the very least recognized what I needed to see, once I realized and understood, a new set of lessons appear and a new path has to be taken. In every one of these circumstances, when things were unbalanced or perhaps not right for me as an individual, it feels as if life sort of 'course-corrected' or balanced the equation to find a better solution. Has anyone else ever felt that way? That life sort of re-calibrates what your path & purpose is according to lessons and unbalanced things going on in your life? Honestly, the more I acknowledge this the more I learn about where I am and where I have to go from this point on. It always comes down to choice, I see that so much more now in my goals & relationships with people, it's what I choose to embark on and what I choose to leave behind as I take that journey. -FC Edited May 17, 2012 by FightClub
january2011
I pretty much agree with everything in your OP. I think that everything we do has a knock-on effect. And I've experienced the feeling of having to re-do 'lessons'. I've also discovered that the more I learn, the less I know. I think it comes from realising how much knowledge there is in the world and knowing that I won't be able to make a dent in it in my lifetime. That's okay though. It means there's still a lot out there to discover.
Anela
Yes, I've experienced that, too.
