sports1 Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 well i've been talking to this girl for way over a year now. last year before she went off to college,I went ahead and told her that I like her because I know i'd regret if I didn't say anything. well she said she just wanted to be friends because she didn't think she should start anything w/ going off to college,so said maybe keep it as friends. since then, i've talked to her alot and now she's back home from college which I still haven't seen her and it's been 9 months. that I like her,I just have to see her atleast once before she goes back, but do something as friends,because I think she wants to spend time with friends and take it easy this summer. well a over a week ago I asked her if she'd like to hang out sometime soon as friends so theres no pressure..I just made it clear so she doesn't think i'm trying something here. anyway she never responded back and I even waited a while and nothing. I haven't talked to her since. your opinions should I just ignore her for good or wait awhile then talk to her again? this whole summer I assume she wants to spend with friends and family,so starting something then having to go back to college would be tough I guess. she has her away message on alot on the computer,and since I asked her this..i've noticed some interesting messages,which of course I know might not have nothing to do with me. like the night after I asked her to hang out..later on I got back and she had a message of " Oh,why do I find these things out when it's too late" the next night something like" I guess i'll keep it how it is" others are " only blessing I have left to my name is not knowing what could've been or should've been" another was " I wish I didn't know now,what I didn't know then" I know these quotes or whatever might not mean anything or anything to me but interesting if so. cinnamonstix49 Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Sports-- In my opinion you should move on for now, see other people and not worry too much about her... she will be going back to school again soon and if you start anything then you will only get hurt.
