HallowedBeThyName
Then elaborate. You think you are going to find a girl with the bolded who also shares your hobbies? I'm not into steroid freaks I'm into cute cardio bunnies and ones who workout but still look feminine like this http://oi46.tinypic.com/t0rhvd.jpg Also keep in mind these are just general guidelines, I'm very flexible with what I like
FrustratedStandards
It's guys like Hallowed Be Thy Name who ruin it for everyone else. If that picture of him in the mirror is real, the dude isn't even in good shape, he's what women have on their Abercrombie and Fitch shopping bags, that kind of physique takes probably 15-20 hours a week to achieve and an extremely good diet with plenty of supplements. I dont believe for a second that guy has never had a girlfriend, unless he purposely chose such. He's a total woman's man: dresses like a teenager, wants commitment against all the odds, not just that but doesnt care that much about looks despite he himself spending most of his free time at the gym, and of course having an obsessively fit Hollywood body girls love. I know for a fact that all it takes to get a woman when you look like that is to...take your shirt off. You can see that in this thread, and you see it in real life too, you actually have to work overtime to NOT get so much women rubbing their vaginas all over you. You can be fresh out of jail for leading a child pornography ring and living off the insurance money you got from burning down an orphanage and you'll still have almost all women worshipping the ground you walk on. And of course, instead of just getting with the hottest woman who is on your level, you want to date a woman that is smart or kind regardless of her looks, dipping into the pool of women of the other 99% of men. Ahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. ironyouth I heart U

WTF? I can't believe you would say that I'm way bigger than the guys you see on Abercrombie and Fitch shopping bags. Those guys are all too skinny/feminine looking
HallowedBeThyName
Well the nerd look was a joke.... but either way, if looking stylish is important to you, then you need to realize it's going to take a long time to attract someone who isn't high-maintenance. Being style is a form of high-maintenance. So either accept your stylish ways and realize you may have to hunt a lot for a girl who dissonance values (is not high-maintenance but goes for high-maintenance looking guys), or look for ways to adjust your style. Well there's a certain level of high maintenance I don't mind. I want a girl who looks good and takes care of herself I just don't want anything even close to frustrated standards. I want a girl who looks good but is a nice person and is not overly superficial Like I said, these guidelines are very very flexible
kaylan
New thread idea! I am always curious what everyone looks like. I CAN SHOW OFF MY AWESOME BATMAN SHIRT. I thought of making a thread int he past so we could all cam whore, but I figured itd cause people to argue about physical attraction and who is or isnt shallow again. kaylan
Its doesnt take 20 hours a week in the gym to get in great shape. 3 hours a week and a good diet is enough for most men and women to get damn sexy.

Here's the thing... I have to walk and/or lift by nature of my "job". I don't have a car, live in the city, walk and carry everything, everywhere. I'm so tired of people judging me of the way I look Pick a subject matter and I'll debate you on it. For god sake's read my other thread about my childhood. I was a fat kid growing up and spent a lot of time doing nerdy things My idea of good time half the time is sitting at home, relaxing and listening to Antonio Vivaldi's four seasons or rewatching episodes of "Batman: Animated Series" from the mid 90s I'm far far far removed from your average brainless jock

It is what it is hun. People act nice to those they find attractive. Its happened to all of us. Ive had girls change their behavior toward me after seeing my body. Ive done the same thing as well. A friend of mine who I hadnt seen in a year visited the area a couple weeks back and she lost a nice bit of weight....and damn did she look good. I was super nice to her that night and we danced and had a great ole time. I felt a bit bad because I had turned her down last year, but I cant help what I am attracted to. HallowedBeThyName
For the record, you don't have to work out 15-20 hours to be in the same shape I am in. I work out 6-10 hours but mainly because I really love doing it I could accomplish what I need to accomplish with 4-5 workouts of only about an hour each week The important thing is to have the proper diet in terms of lower calories for cutting and higher calories for gaining size + work out very very hard and very efficiently. I can get more work done in 45 minutes than most people in 3 hours because I workout with good form and very very high intensity Work smarter, not harder

Wtf are you talking about? You obviously know nothing about the gyms affects on a womans body if you think working out hurts a womans attractiveness. And it does not take 3 hours a day to get a great body. I was talking about 3 hours a week. Go to bodybuilding.com and hit the forums. See some of the profiles. Plenty of men and women on that site work out a few days a week, 1 hour at a time and have awesome bodies. Please go.

HallowedBeThyName
Oh me me! Oh wait.... you pick! favorite classic rock bands? I love Rush, the combination of magnificent musicianship and a warm emotional atmosphere is hard to resist. I love "YYZ" and "2112" especially. Geddy Lee and Neal Peart are arguably the best rhythm section in rock history

HallowedBeThyName
No, most of them have a similar build to yours. Sorry to break it to you HBTN, but spending most of your time trying to look like a hollywood star is pretty effeminate, it shows an obsession with your celebrity status and an unhealthy obsession with wanting to be accepted. A fit , athletic body is vital for men I agree, but you are taking it to another level. In all likelihood, you are a fake. I think it's quite interesting how all the "i dont care about looks" women like Verhrzn have been giving you so much attention and trying to be "flirty" (I can even see V putting some "game" across). I bet if you were some nerd she would pay for your plain ticket just to have a no strings attached rump, no matter how much she denies. All women are the same. I'm not really into one night stands. They don't do much for me, I'm a relationship kind of a guy Like I said before, all I want is a nice girl that will be loyal and treat me well. I do like very hot girls with awesomely toned bodies but that's merely eye candy. I have very very flexible standards in real life

You would love working out if you worked out with me I make it a lot of fun, I don't take things too seriously. I'm all about working hard but also having a lot of the fun in the gym. If you're not having fun, then what's the point? For me, I just see it like a huge challenge everyday to move very heavy weight. I feel like an ancient gladiator when I have 350 or 360 LBs in my arms and I'm trying to lift it up for the first time. It makes me feel alive
