I believe that in everyone you can find something good

had to quote you......you need to read aloud what you wrote and instead of the word everyone use the word ME.......i can give you many things that I believe that are good about you from your post......and I dont know you....so to the person who knows your heart better than anyone on this planet ...... I want you to read your posts and I want you to tell me what The things are, or might be that I can read that are good about you......even the the bad things you are thinking point an insight to the person you are.........and ill let you know you arent weak right off the bat.....you criticise who you are for starters, turn that around and start to see what others can see in you.......i will then let you know what i think.......best wishes .....deb

thank you, I don't know, I like my eyes, I actually liked even my body - my ex told me different (I was thinking about it and I remember that he liked my breast and after some time he told me he liked big breasted girls, he told me that he liked slim girls but after some time he started telling me he liked fatter girls, this situation repeated, one time he liked it next time he told me he didn't like it, don't really understand this game....) so now I don't like it and I am pretty confused.

I think I am good in music and I have a good memory, I think I am a good friend - but now I am not really sure.

finally I am able to make list about my pros:

- I am honest and open

- I am empathetic

- I forgive quickly

- I am a good friend

- I am a good listener

- I like to help others without wanting something back

- I like children and pets

- I study at the university so I can't be stupid

- I am financial stable - I don't need any man to pay for me, I have part time jobs and I can take care of myself

and about my looks:

- I like my eyes

- I like my curly dark brown hair

- I somehow started to like my body, yes there is nothing to be ashamed of

Does anyone take them? Does it work?

I am thinking about taking something, I am not that sad or really depressed, but seriously disturbed and unmotivated.

I don't want to take normal anti-depressant, I used to take them once and felt like sleeping all the time.

Or do you have another tips?

somebody told me to try guarana seems to be working, I haven't slept in like hmmmmmmmmm a week so I should sleep well soon Im hoping to sleep fro the whole eight hours the butterflies fluttering just on the side of my peripheral view are a bit distracting but hey its herbal......i am kidding ......

I have to take prescribed anti depressants ....in conjunction with other medication that is monitored an dbull dogged by an acute care team.Try going the herbal route.Prescribed meds are rather tricky to maintain constant change is a necessary action to get the balance right, you can often become immune to the effects and slump till it is adjusted and maintained at a satisfactory balanced mood mode for you.....go the herbal you can only try it see if it is right for you....if it doesnt help within a month go seek professional advice or see your doctor anyway about the herbal medication, seek his advice or knowledge on the medication and have your doctor monitor progress.....best wishes happy herballing .....hydro.......herbs...mmmmm butterflies....gone...lol....deb

I've used Citalopram and St John's Wort (on different occasions) and preferred St John's Wort. SJW should not be taken in conjunction with SSRIs as it is known to contain MOAs (SSRIs and MOAs being two different types of anti-depressant which don't react well with each other). Both Citalopram and SJW show in a trial ( The treatment of minor depression with St. J... [J Psychiatr Res. 2011] - PubMed - NCBI ) to be as good as a placebo for minor depression.

However, your personal experience may vary (as did the individual results in the trial) from the trend. You might get a great effect; no effect; or an adverse effect. Different people react differently.

As with all anti-depressants, if you choose to try them, start with a small dose and pay attention to your mood, and stop if necessary. It's your judgment call as to whether or not it is making your life better or worse. Some choose to come off sharply; others choose to cut down like a reverse of how they started their regime. Again, trust your own judgment.

My view is if you've ever drunk, smoked, taken recreational drugs, anti-depressants are much milder than any of those, based purely on my personal experience. However, mixing Citalopram and alcohol led to blackouts in several people I know who used it.

thank you all!

So now I am on trazodon and valdoxan together, I combined them and they work GREAT! I feel much better, it's like the stone fell off my stomach and head. My mind isn't obsessed about my ex, my fa, negativity etc. that much and I am able to enjoy things I do.

I sometimes even feel something like happiness. So I will take them for a while.
