pixie64 Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 My ex and I broke up 3 years ago. I never stopped loving him. Now living in another state with another woman. We have recently been in contact by email and I told him that I love him and would like a second chance. Sometimes he tells me he loves me and wants to see me and other times he seems distant. I have to think there is something wrong in their relationship if he's contacting me and said he loves me. I've asked him what his feelings are about our situation, but he avoids the issue. He doesn't want me seeing anyone else and gets mad if I mention that I had a date and is firm about the fact that he doesn't want me living with anyone else. I talked with his brother who tells me that he truly believes I have a second chance. I just don't know what to think of all this and I'm very confused. Why is he sometimes sweet and loving and other times distant. I know he must be confused, but I would like anyone's opinion of the situation. Has anyone been in a similar situation? WHO IS HE TO TRY AND CONTROL YOU AND WHAT YOU DO IN YOURLIFE WHEN HE IS CONTRADICTING HIMSELF. IF IT DIDNT WORK OUT THE FIRST TIME WHAT MAKE THINK IT WILL WORK A SECOND TIME. I JUST THINK HE ENJOYS THE FACT OF YOU GIVING IN TO HIM HIM AND EVERYONE LIKES THE FACT THAT PEOPLE ADMIRE THEM SO KEEPING THIS GOING IS KEEPING HIS EGO BOOSTED MOVE.
