Wow I got so fat today

Feels bad man :( I don't know what happened but I went on an eating spree today. I ate 2 bowls of raisin bran cereal, 2 cups of milk, 2 huge oatmeal cookies, 30 dumpings, and probably about 100 cashews. I'm scared to even look at myself in the mirror tomorrow morning :(

 

I can feel a thin coating of fat forming around my midsection.

You're only going to get "fat" if you're doing that every day for a month. And you stop working out.

 

You're making fit people sound like assh*les...

no seriously man :( My body doesn't tolerate carbs that well so I keep to only complex carbs, very few simple carbs but today I probably had I would guess around 250g of carbs. I normally consume around 165g carbs with 90% of those complex but damn I really pigged out today.

 

I know the dumplings have a LOT of simple carbs and those go STRAIGHT to my midsection.

I think you're going a little overboard... almost approaching eating disorder / body image issue territory. If you ate too many simple carbs then do an extra workout tomorrow and use up the energy. There are elite athletes who have cheat days ten times worse than what you just described. Probably the only reason you feel like you had a regretful binge instead of just a planned cheat day is that you're too strict in the first place. When your will power totally buckles unexpectedly and a few hours later you regret everything you ate, something went wrong.

 

Fluid/water weight can accumulate quickly and maybe that's what you felt on your midsection but there's no way you were actual feeling the cellular formation of fat under your skin lol. The simple carbs will spike some fluid retention. Just sweat it out.

didnt eat at all today and lifted pretty heavy. feels good man ^______^

yes I did lift today Here is what I did today for chest and tricep

 

super set 1

4 155lb bench press 8 rep

3 105 close grip bench press tricep 8 rep

 

superset 2 on smith machine

4 sets 155 lb incline bench press 8 rep

3 sets dips 8x, until failure last set

3 set 65lbs skull crushers 8 rep

 

superset 3

4 smith machine 155 bench press 7 rep

4 115 lbs cable crossover 8 rep

 

superset 4

4 set 110 lbs pec dec 8 rep

3 sets tricep extension 25lb 8 rep

 

superset 5

3 set barbell curl 80 lb 8 rep

3 set pushups only 8 rep :(

 

finished this in about 70 minutes. i am 173 lbs. any suggestions/tips/modifications to my chest/tricep workout are welcome :)
